  1. Hey Steve , coupon world and all the great deals have just dissolved in the past 6 months, what’s going on out there ?
I know you know what I’m talking about !

    • Not Steve, but many vendors are switching to digital coupons or in-store promotions. Proctor & Gamble has decided to cut back on all coupons. Many vendors have adopted a one-coupon-per-person policy. It’s harder and harder to score a great deal, but there are good deals (just not as many).

    • Yeah, it’s been pretty ugly. There just aren’t that many good deals to write, even fewer when it comes to what is capable of making the site money, since the printable coupons were a huge part of that. We’ve had to amp up the online shopping deals on the site just to survive. As for what it means for couponers…you can see it in our shopping trips (well…the lack thereof.) I am living in Colombia right now and I was in the USA for a few weeks around the holidays and I didn’t even really try to coupon, other than helping my old roommate maximize her CVS coupons from the Red Coupon Machine. I bought most of the things I needed to take back to Colombia on Amazon and at Walmart. Insane.
