  1. Amazing. How many different Walgreens stores did you go to for everything?

    • Monica Bragg says

I went to two different stores and didn’t clear any shelves at either store. I was amazed at how stocked they were.

  2. what is your out of pocket today is what I really want to know

    • Monica Bragg says

I spent less than $20 out of pocket and I cashed in 40000 points on one transaction. I also have $169 worth of register rewards left to use.

  3. I really want to know how you managing your Register Reward to min your OFP expense

    • Monica Bragg says

I started with plenty of rewards from Sunday so I was sure to use those first so that they didn’t expire.

  4. nice job!
    what was your total oop?

    • Monica Bragg says

It was less than $20 and I cashed in 40000 points and I have $169 worth of register rewards left to use.

  5. Don’t they have a limit on rewards? If so how did you get so many of each item. More then 1 card?

    • Monica Bragg says

I only have one card and as long as you don’t use the reward to pay for the same item then there is no limit (at my stores). Some stores do enforce limits but that differs for each store, none here locally enforce any limits on rewards items.

  6. Awesome! just printed walgreens for beginners. Thanks

  7. How do you get yours coupons early?

  8. I am confused on the Sinumed. Did you do all 8 in one transaction?

    • Sorry..meant Sinufrin. I was wondering how you were able to use 2 WQs and have it deduct $8 for each?

      • Steve Pinski says

Also FYI – The Walgreens coupon policy actually allows for applicable store “coupon(s)” on the purchase of a single item. Therefore you are technically allowed to buy one and use both store coupons if you have them (plus a single manufacturer’s coupon.)

It’s an odd loophole most people don’t know (and if you show it to your cashiers it will surprise the heck out of them!)

    • Steve Pinski says

She did them in separate transactions. Both of us did so many transactions on Thanksgiving that we decided to just lump it all together in the write up so we could spend more time with our families. You can view a doable scenario here:
      http://www.couponaholic.net/2014/11/walgreens-shopping-scenario-for-beginners-1127-1129/

      • THANK YOU! My first year couponing including Black Friday. Received email notification from your site with this scenario (break down really helped). Had 8RR to start from last week. Spent 1.5 hours rolling RR again and again. Walked out with TONS of stuff and 40RR. My family was impressed! THANK YOU AGAIN!

  9. Hey Monica, I have a question. If I buy 8 Crest toothpastes in the same transaction how many rewards will I get? Will I get just 1 reward for $3 or 8 rewards for $3?

  10. hi today i purchased 2 NEIL MED SINUDRIP GEL OR SPRAY from walgreen in a single transaction and i got only one $5 RR .but is it true that in a transaction u will get all RR from the items .plz help me what shoud i do ,i am a new couponer and i follows u and i need ur advice on this.and store persons told me there is no coupon for cold and flu or allergy whatever in nov monthly saving book thats all.plz reply soon.
    monika

    • Steve Pinski says

You can only purchase one in a transaction and get the Register Reward. If you want to buy more of an item, you must do it in a separate transaction and you can’t pay for the new Transaction with a Register Reward from the same manufacturer or you won’t get a new Register Reward for that product.

The store coupons aren’t in the monthly coupon booklet. They are in booklets that you may find in your stores that have been around a while.

  11. can someone help me? I want to turn my rr into points can I buy three advil at a time and get back 3000 in points or does it have to be separate transactions? thanks

    • Steve Pinski says

That should work, but test by purchasing two. Usually you can do multiples of a points deal if it is a Buy X number, but if it is Buy $Y or more, then it usually only works once per transaction.

  12. I don’t understand forcing people into so many transactions. It’s no wonder why people hate couponers. The lines at Walgreen’s must have been horrible yesterday.

    • Monica Bragg says

Actually, it was empty on Thanksgiving when I went and I asked to be checked out at photo in order to not hold up the lines but if there isn’t anyone at photo then I always do one transaction and then let everyone behind me go before I do another one. I just wish that everyone had the same courtesy and respect for others. Last year I did that and there was another couponer behind me and she literally rang up all 75 transactions (yes I am exaggerating), knowing that I just stopped my transactions to let her go because it was obvious that I still had a cart full.
