Does anyone know what the effect of Walgreens and Rite Aid merging will be ont his program? I hate that they merged. I don’t really care for Walgreens.

    • They didn’t merge. Walgreens bought about 2/3 of the Rite Aid stores. The remaining 1/3 were supposed to be bought by Albertsons and still run as Rite Aid but that deal fell through. As for now, those stores are still business as usual. For the 2/3 purchased by Walgreens, various things are happening. Some of those Rite Aids will close permanently and some will eventually become Walgreens. In the meantime, if you have Rite Aid stores purchased by Walgreens, they will run as Rite Aid. Your Bonus Cash program will work the same as usual. Even if you live in an area where they are closing all your Rite Aid stores, your Bonus Cash does not switch over to Walgreen’s. Two unrelated programs.

I agree with you. Not a fan of Walgreen’s but they have started closing all the R.A.s here 🙁
