So I totally rocked out Walgreens today!  I had a 3,000 points on a $15 purchase in my Walgreen’s account that was too good to pass up!

As usual, I’m including Balance Rewards at $1.25 per 1000 because I’ve been saving them for the big $50 rewards!  The transactions below are spread out across several different stores, so I wouldn’t take too much from any one store and leave some stock for others, because of this some of the prices may vary from one transaction to the next.  So here’s how it all went down.

  1. I’m confused about the Bic deal. If you get 3000 reward points for buying 2, how does that work out to $7.50? Wouldn’t 3000 points be $3.00-$3.75?

    • My bad, I cut and pasted from the deodorant and forgot to update the balance rewards. Will fix it now.

      • That’s what I figured might have happened; thanks for fixing it! Of course, you could do the deal twice and get $7.50.

  2. On this deal “TWO BIC COMFORT 3 RAZORS, on sale $3.19, regular price $4.59
Get 3,000 in Balance Reward Points (Value $3.75) for buying two Bic Disposable Razors”, where are you coming up with “Price at Register: $0.38, but got $7.50 in Balance Rewards?????” you specify it is 3,000 in Balance rewards when buying two, but why do you stay $7.50 in Balance Rewards????

  3. So if I do only the bic deal I should get back 3.75 in points? Or I have to buy up to 15$ product to get the 3.75 in points ? Thanks!

    • If you only buy two Bic razors, you will get 3,000 points. If you buy four Bic razors, you will get 6,000 points. 3,000 points for every two you buy. You don’t need to buy anything else.

Wayland counts the value of 3,000 points as $3.75 because he redeems points when he can use only 40,000 points to pay for $50 in mechandise. I rarely redeem points in large amounts, so I only count 3,000 points as $3.00.
