  1. Shanay hodges says:

I purchased over 20 aveeno products in that time frame

  2. Ten year time span? Wow! I’ve bought sooooo much of that particular Aveeno line in the last 10 years. It’s the only BW my grandson will use and he’s 13 now. “Only the one with the green lid, Nana”. 🙂 If I only bought two per year for him, that would already put me over the “no receipt” limit. Not to mention all of the lotions and facial products. I wish I had receipts!

Btw…I couldn’t find the reason for the suit. Any idea? Is it killing us slowly or something equally horrible?

  3. Darlene Ruado-Dilag says:

    Been using Aveeno lotions eversince!

  4. Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies Inc. has reportedly agreed to pay $6.75 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it deceptively marketed its Aveeno Active Naturals line.

Under the terms of the proposed Aveeno class action settlement, J&J will also remove the “Active Naturals” label from the products to address complaints from consumers that the products contained unnatural, synthetic ingredients such as glycerine, sodium hydroxide and cetyl alcohol.

The Aveeno class action lawsuit, filed in 2013, alleged Johnson & Johnson charged a premium for the so-called “natural” products over competing personal care products that did not include the “natural” claim. The plaintiffs claim they would not have paid as much for the Aveeno products if they had known the Aveeno Active Naturals products contained synthetic ingredients.

J&J denies the allegations and vigorously fought against the litigation, but its attempts at dismissing the Aveeno class action lawsuit were unsuccessful. The company subsequently agreed to settle the Aveeno class action lawsuit to avoid the burden and expense of ongoing litigation.

  5. I really, really, really wish you would stop re-posting all the class action lawsuits. The more times you post, the more people join……and the smaller the payout gets (LOL).
    🙂

  6. There was a study done that 2 out of 5 claims filed never purchased the product for that specific law suit. 🙁

  7. I have purchased at least 20 bottles of lotion just in 2 yrs.

  8. At least 20 in 2 yrs time that I can prove.

  9. Tom Collins says:

CVS had a lot of good deals and some clearance on several products in the past five so I stocked up. I’m sure I purchased way more than 20 of them, but I’ve procrastinated filing. Good thing you reminded us, as I certainly am eligible for the claim.
