So with this transaction I had tried to do just the Physician’s Formula and to get the last Rimmel on a third transaction.  (I left a coupon at home by mistake on Sunday.)  Only the computer rejected my 40% off one item coupon because it was an Extra Bucks deal.  So I added a Rimmel item to it, since I decided not to use the coupon, and it suddenly went through.  Computers are confusing sometimes!

  1. Sandra Wilson says

I got Physician’s Formula coupon at the coupon box for 4.00 off 1. So I pick out two 7.29 so I have two reg. coupon out of the paper and 1 cvs coupon. so it was 14.58 – 12.00 = 2.58. and got 7.00 back.

  2. I tried to buy Hershey’s cookies yesterday. In the store they were going to put the price $2.21 only.
I was arguing about it, but no luck. The1st item is $3.79, 2nd item is $2.21, so you are getting the 2nd item for free. Neither to say that I left without anything.

  3. Same thing happened to me about only deducting $2.21 for the Hershey Crunch. It is the way the computers are setup. The first one rings up at regular single price. The clerk explained their system takes off the 2nd item purchased at the lower cost to add to the first price to equal the sale price.
CVS started fairly recently charging more for a single item when it is two for something which is sonethibg I always disliked about only Walgreen.
CVS is still much better because they honor the rewards when they write the raincheck which says right on it “never expires” which is great.
Plus their rewards have a longer time to use than Walgreen.
