  1. Anyone been having problems with CVS coupons the past few months? My friend and I just back from CVS, the 2.50 off colgate only took .85 on mine and 1.28 on my friends’. Same with the candy bar coupons..took .27 and .43 instead of .75…I been having same problem with CVS coupons and they can’t seem to give me an answer for why, I don’t get the full value of the coupons they issue as advertised in their ads. Just wondering if anyone experienced same issues.

    • Steve Pinski says:

I had this happen to me one time a few months ago. My store just printed a courtesy Extra Buck to compensate me for the lost value on the coupons.

    • I’ve had the odd category coupon (e.g., $4 off $14 facial products) adjust to prorate for items I included that weren’t supposed to be covered (like wipes), and I’ve had CVS coupons reduce to the price of the product (as when a $2 any paper towel coupon is applied to a $1.77 single roll), but I haven’t had random, puzzling reductions.

I did a small order today with one Colgate toothpaste and one Hershey’s single candy bar. I used the $2.50/1 Red machine Colgate coupon, a $0.50/1 MQ, and the $0.75/1 Red machine candy coupon. All coupons came off fully. I had a $0.24 subtotal plus tax.
