  1. Michele says:

Hey Steve, under what zip code are you getting the coupon? I tried several with no luck!

    • Steve Pinski says:

It doesn’t show up where I live. I’m not one of them that can see it. The site with the tip doesn’t list a zip either. There is a second link there that doesn’t require a zip. It’s a Purell web site with the coupon.

  2. Michele says:

OK,thanks! I was wondering if you might have an idea about why I don’t get any email coupons from cvs anymore? I have saved in the thousands but I thought you probably do as well. Do you still get them? And now they have stopped giving them to me in the machine as well except for the few that everyone gets. Thanks for your feedback. I appreciate it!

    • Steve Pinski says:

I have one card that gets nothing other than the advertised coupons now. The best way to deal with this problem is to get a new card and start using it while phasing out the usage of your old card. Within a few weeks, you will probably start to see some good coupons on the new cards, especially if you have bought some things that require a little bit of spending (cheap water/soda 12-packs/paper product deals/diaper deals.) Basically, they’ve determined that the coupons they give your current card cause them to lose money, instead of incentivizing you to spend more.

  3. Michele says:

    Ok, thanks for the feedback!

  4. One of my local walgreen’s denied the use of my printable coupons on Friday with the $1.00 off ziplock deal you all posted last week citing their declining participation in printables. Is this a store management decision? Are others having trouble as well?

Even the tide coupons in my PG insert says to go to their website to print out…feeling very annoyed as of late. They don’t make saving easy anymore.

    • Maureen says:

I recently heard of a Walgreens refusing all printables. The only way to know if the store manager is allowed to refuse them is to call Walgreens customer service and ask. I suspect the manager is allowed to refuse them because some areas are hard-hit with fraudulent coupons.

  5. Is there some reason you don’t advocate using two $1 Purell coupons? Maybe it’s against Walgreen’s coupon policy I’m guessing? Don’t know, never saw a policy, never been told in store “it’s against our policy.”
Anyway, I bought 2 soaps, used 2 coupons (no comments, no problems with the cashier, an older woman) which scanned fine, so this deal ended up being a MM with 75c back from Checkout 51 and $2 from Ibotta, both of which I’ve already received.
Not wanting to start anything, just curious, hope this doesn’t make me a bad person!
