CVS: Aveeno Bars included in ECB deal = FREE + $1.53 MONEYMAKER!

Wow, here’s a hot inclusion in the CVS deal on Aveeno products. The Aveeno Moisturizing Bars are included in the BOGO 50% off sale and Extra Bucks deal. Toss in a few coupons and score a moneymaker!

UPDATE: I have already printed my max of these coupons from this computer, so I can’t check, but I received an email saying “cleansing bars” are excluded on the coupon. That puts this deal in a bit of a gray area since these are “moisturizing” bars but they may mean the same thing. If you decide against using coupons, they will still only be $0.49 each, which is pretty amazing.

At CVS through 5/13:
BUY THREE AVEENO MOISTURIZING BARS, on sale BOGO 50% OFF $3.79 ($9.47 for three with sale)
Get $8 Extra Bucks for buying three Aveeno Facial Care, Sun Care, Hand/Body Lotion, Personal Cleansing or Shave Gel (limit 1)
Use one $2/2 Aveeno Products printable coupon
and use one $1/1 Aveeno Product printable coupon
Price at Register: $6.47, but get $8 Extra Bucks

Thanks LRWC.

  1. Did the coupon go through or did it beep?

  2. Don’t waste your time with the Aveeno coupons. They won’t scan and they refuse to put them in manually. Today’s excuse for not taking a valid coupon is “corporate removed the coupon button from the registers.”
I’ve just about had enough with CVS. Today I’m going through all my receipts and returning anything I can find in my stockpiles.

    • Steve Pinski says

My store manually enters coupons that beep if they are a match. It takes an override from a manager, but it can be done.

  3. Steve,

I just printed out the coupons and the only exclusion is for trial and travel sizes. Thanks.

  4. Lucky you Steve to have a semi-intelligent manager at your store. I spoke to the manager at my store, (he was at the next register when I checked out) and he said they can NOT manually enter a coupon, the register won’t allow it.
So far I have 3 receipts with the associated products retrieved from my stockpile to return. Screw CVS.

    • Steve Pinski says

Wow, he’s either uneducated or just making stuff up because he wants to drive you away from shopping there. Amazing.

  5. I couldn’t find them 🙁

  6. AJ, I had to search like crazy to find them. First I asked a cashier (asst mngr) and she said “they’re with all the other Aveeno products, but they’re out of stock right now.”
Not believing her (they’re pretty unfriendly here, as you can see from my previous posts) I wandered down the lotion/facial moisturizer isle.
I found various Aveeno products in FOUR different places. Gee, let’s really be helpful to the customers, NOT!
I found the bar soap (5 of them actually, haha, out of stock??) near the facial stuff, but who knows where it might be in other stores?
