  1. New to couponing (only be active for a few weeks). Want to see if this would work the way I think it will with the sales listed above:

    Purchase 4 All 22 pacs (2.99 x 4 = 11.96)
    1 Cottonelle Toilet Paper (9.99)
    Use 4 coupons for All – RP 4/23 (1.00 x 4 = $4.00)
Use 1 coupon for Cottonelle SS 4/9 (1.00)
    Checkout 51 (.50)

So far…total $21.95 (before coupons), so get $5 extrabucks

    Purchase Scope (4.99)
Have cvs mfr coupon printed on receipt for $2 off $4 scope
Total $2.99 plus receive $3.00 extrabucks

Purchase 2 Dove Hair Products (8.00)
Purchase 3 Suave Hair Care (9.00)
Use Dove paper coupon – 4/9 SS (3.00)
    Use Suave B2G1 – 4/23SS (3.00)
$17 before coupons, so receive $5.00 extraucks

    Now…all together:

    $43.94 before coupons
$30.94 after coupons, but before checkout 51
$11.00 extrabucks I have from last week
    $10.00 cvs coupon ($10 off $40 purchase)

If this works the way I think it would, I would pay $9.94 OOP, submit my $0.50 to C51 and receive $13 extrabucks for next time…

  2. Hey Steve,
I am very confused about the Suave deal. You’ve posted it twice, coming up with different cost amounts and I still come up with a different cost $$ then both of yours. Help, I am kind of new, “in training” and I try to figure things to the nickel. Thanks

    • Steve Pinski says

I didn’t write up the Suave deal in this post. I was off yesterday and Monica did the drugstore deals. I just looked at this and I have no idea how she came up with this amount. If they are B2G1 coupons and you buy six and use two B2G1 coupons, you should pay for four which should be $12 and get $5 Extra Bucks. Net price is $7 (or $1.40 each.)

Unfortunately, I don’t have any Suave coupons yet to check the fine print on them. I won’t have mine until late Wednesday night when I get back home.

    • The problem starts from CVS and their uneven pricing. They are 2/$6 but instead of ringing up $3 each, each pair will ring up $3.49 and $2.51 so depending on what amount your cashier takes off the final price will vary.

      Buy 6, use 2 b2g1, cashier takes off 2 x $3 for each = $12 get back $5
      Buy 6, use 2 b2g1, cashier takes off 2 x $2.51 for each = $12.98 get back $5
      Buy 6, use 2 b2g1, cashier takes off 2 x $3.49 for each = $11.02 get back $5

  3. My CVS has raised their Scope to $5.49 as their regular non sale price on the one liter. Boo Hiss!!

  4. Howdy!

I’ve gone through 2 sets of my area’s SS insert slowly many times and can’t find the Sauve BOGO, is it regional?~

    • Yes. It was not in my delivered paper, but it’s probably in a different regional paper that I would need to buy off the stand. I haven’t checked yet, because I wasn’t happy with today’s coupons in general.

    • I’m glad it’s not just me, hubby bought the papers from where he worked and I asked him if someone stole that sheet out of all the papers lol

  5. Kimberley says

Hi Steve and crew- I just returned from a terrible trip to CVS. None of my Extracare Bucks would scan. The system had them in red on the screen. The manager told me that according to the system that they were expired even though on my ECB’s were clearly not. I also was told that I must have 2 cards which I do not have. The manager also told me that the coupon policy has changed and gave me a copy to read. I have not read the policy yet. I was too upset and could not buy any of my items since my ECB’s were in red they would not honor them. I have a call into corporate office. I was wondering if any one else has had this issue? Thanks

    • Steve Pinski says

I haven’t had this issue, but I haven’t been to CVS this week because I am out of town. Perhaps someone else will see this and comment. I hope everything gets resolved. Hopefully it was just a glitch in the system.
