Publix: As Low as $0.99 (possibly even FREE) Big Bottle of Persil Pro-Clean Laundry Detergent, but Only for a Few Days ($14.99 VALUE!)

I love Persil, also known as “The Tide of Europe.”  It works wonderfully well and smells glorious.  For a few days only, we’ll be able to get a big 100-oz bottle for only 99 cents at Publix with sale, coupons, and cashback rebate!  It may even be free if SavingStar credits both rebates.  This size is regularly $15, so it’s a steal.

We will need to buy early in the new ad week because the $5 auto-deduction sale starts on Wednesday/Thursday but the Publix $5/1 coupon from the purple flyer expires Friday.  Be sure to clip the SavingStar offers to get $2.00 cashback for buying the 100-oz bottle and $1.00 cashback for buying any Persil if you haven’t done so already (if the rebates are still available), but this detergent is so good that even $2.99 for the big bottle is a fantastic deal.

Starting Wednesday, February 8 or Thursday, February 9 (depending on when your new sales begin) and ONLY through Friday, February 10:

Get $2.00 cashback from SavingStar for buying ONE (1) Persil® ProClean® Laundry Detergent, 75 oz Power-Liquid® or larger, 3 lbs 11 oz Power-Pearls®, 38 ct Power-Caps® or larger (exp. 2/19)
Get $1.00 cashback from SavingStar for buying ONE (1) Persil® ProClean® Laundry Detergent (exp. 2/19)

  1. Persil is not offered on my saving star……….hmmmmmmmm…

    • I activated the Persil offers on 1/23 (for the $1/1) and 1/26 (for the $2/1), so they first became available about two weeks ago. It could be that you did not get the offers in the first place, or it could be that SavingStar withdrew the offers once they reached the maximum number of activations allowed.

  2. Does anyone know what the deal is now, with printing from
I clicked the link above, and now it wants me to “verify the device” by giving them my cell number (on a laptop?)

I read something about this a long time ago but have been able to print up until today.

Any suggestions on how to get around this?
How will this work if you have more than 1 computer and/or cell phone and IPAD to print from?
How will you verify all of them?

    Thanks for your help.

    • Steve Pinski says

I printed earlier today without being forced to verify the device. I had an option to do it later and it let me print when I clicked that.

      • I used to have that option too (just click “I’ll do it later”) and it would take me directly to printing, but now a lot of the links are taking me to a page that does not give that option (only verity the device).
I found a way around it though, unfortunately it was going to another site and searching their coupon database and printing from there.
Something tells me this is not looking good…..:-(
The crackdown is about to begin !!

    • That always comes up for me, unless I disable my adblock first. Try doing that first & then going to couponsdotcom. It should work.

    • According to Quotient (parent of, you will be able to get a unique set of prints for every mobile phone number you verify. No longer will you be able to get two sets of prints from every device based on unique IPs for Internet/device. If you have one phone number to verify and three devices, you’ll only be able to get two prints, regardless of which device you use. If you want to print from three devices, you will need to verify each one with a unique phone number. There is supposed to be an option to verify a landline via telephone interview with someone at Quotient, but I haven’t heard of anyone doing that.

I can’t tell if they are rolling out the new requirements in stages or if it just isn’t working as they want because people are still able to print without verifying a phone number via text message.
