  1. Went to cvs yesterday to do the Irish Spring & Softsoap deal…spend $10 get $5 ecb’s, limit 2! Before coupons, of course it was well over $10, per set of 3 body washes…after coupons, the SUBTOTAL was $10.50…and the MANAGER would not allow me but ONE $5 ecb because he said my SUBTOTAL AFTER COUPONS HAD TO BE OVER $20 to qualify for the 2nd ecb…has anyone else had this problem??? Seems if subtotal AFTER coupons has to be met, what’s the point in couponing…you’d have to buy so much more to take advantage of ecb offers!!!
Do you think corporate might clarify?

    • Steve Pinski says:

I am not 100% sure if I completely understand this, but if you bought $20 of participating items and completed the transaction, you should have automatically received $10 Extra Bucks on your receipt ($5 twice.) If the store is telling you otherwise, you should ignore them and complete the transaction. You should end up with the $10 Extra Bucks on your receipt.

  2. Eryka Workman says:

For some reason my coca cola free product coupon beeped and they would not accept it. Did your coupon beeped?

    • Steve Pinski says:

Mine beeped and that is what is supposed to happen. The register is asking them to enter a value for the coupon, because it does not have a set amount. In this case, the price for one is $4.49 (except the third one which was $1.02.) My cashier had to enter the correct amount for each coupon and that is why the register beeped.
