  1. Tried to do this deal and was told that they don’t allow customers to use 2 coupons on one item, even though it’s one Walgreens coupon and one manufacturer’s coupon. :/ Has someone done this deal successfully? I might consider trying a different store, if I’m near one sometime this week, but don’t want to waste time if it’s definitely not going to work.

    • Steve Pinski says:

Your store was just making stuff up. The Walgreens policies allow stacking a manufacturer’s coupon with a store coupon on the purchase of a single item.

      • OK, thanks. I know there used to be no problem, but I don’t always keep up-to-date on the newest policy changes… The computer actually rejected the MQ, saying it was more than the purchase price after the Walgreens coupon–obviously not the case since last I checked $.45 was still less than $.99! 🙂 Cashier got a manager involved, and he’s the one that informed me I couldn’t use 2 coupons on a single item. Still doesn’t make sense to me that the computer would reject the coupon, but oh well.

    • Walgreen’s allows stacking 1 mq and up to 3 store coupons. Store coupons such as monthly walgreen’s coupon from coupons book, walgreen’s coupon from the Healthcare brochure, and walgreen’s news letter coupons.
