I did not have knockout trip to Publix yesterday, mainly because items I needed for rain checks were not in stock, other items I wanted (like the Del Monte Fruit Refreshers) are apparently not carried at the store I shopped in yesterday, I forgot about the Pepsi deal, and I was rushing.  I wanted to use the $10/$50 Target Food & Beverage coupon in yesterday’s Target ad (make sure your Publix accepts Target coupons before attempting to use it), so nothing other than food and beverage could be used to meet the $50 minimum.  Even so, I fell slightly short at the register and grabbed a $1 Nutella & Go! at the register to get over $50.  On the other hand, I really want everything I got.  The $10 for the Target coupon is factored into the final tally.  FYI – The New York Bake-and-Break bread is missing from the photo.

ONE PUBLIX YOUNG TURKEY, BROAD BREASTED, USDA GRADE A, 10 TO 24 LB, $0.59/LB (LIMIT 2 PER CUSTOMER), $8.53 (Saved $13.01)
No coupons used
I noticed after I got home that my 10.8 pound turkey is priced $0.79 per pound.  I thought all the turkeys in that case were $0.59, but I will have to return to the store to double-check the signage.  This is not my Thanksgiving turkey, but I wanted a small one for the freezer, and 10.8 pounds is definitely not “broad breasted,” so maybe that is why mine is $0.79/lb.
