  2. Ya, it won’t ring up automatically and you’ll need a manager to manually put it through. Since Walgreens coupon policy doesn’t allow for adjusting coupon values down to the selling price of the item- and the coupon reads $2 off 1, technically the coupon shouldnt work on their items selling at $1 each, but since they widely advertised the deal as “FREE” on the busiest shopping weekend of the year they would be smart to honor it. My cashiers couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t work, (they didn’t notice the fine print stating it was only $2 off one) but did call a manager over to put it through for me after seeing the weekly ad advertising it as free.
