frankenberry-cerealTarget will start clearancing Halloween items at store opening on Tuesday. There’s a great coupon that doesn’t expire for a few weeks and you will want to print it immediately for these post-Halloween markdowns:

$0.75/1 Count Chocula, Boo Berry or Franken Berry Cereal printable coupon (preclipped) – prints with an expiration date a few weeks from now!

Target has these cereals priced at $2.50, so when we see the big markdowns take place we’re going to get cheap or free items. Based on previous years, these have dropped to 70% around 11/3 or 11/4…or shortly thereafter. Once they hit 70% off, they will be only $0.75 each. That means they are free with this coupon.

If you decide to buy them when they drop to 50% off the price before coupon will be only $1.25, making them just $0.50 per box with this coupon.

The DPCI for Count Chocula is 231-00-0527, so you can check here to see your store’s current price each morning before running to the store. However, make sure you print that coupon right now because it could disappear quickly.

Also, even if items aren’t marked as clearance, you should price check anything Halloween themed or in Halloween packaging. You will find some hidden clearances. (It happens after every holiday.)

Thanks Totally Target.

Extreme Couponing Tip: You can usually get two prints of most internet coupons. To find them in the easiest possible way, use our preclipped links that take you right to the coupon. Then come back and click the same link to get your 2nd print. This will save you the time spent searching for the coupon.

  1. I have a question on printing coupons. Sometimes when I click to print a coupon, I get a print screen that you able to choose any number of prints. Why does that happen, and should I only print one or is it ok to print multiples of this one coupon ? This happened today on the frankenberry cereal coupon on this site, and it has happened to me on different sites as well.

I have never had that option pop up on coupons.com. The important issue would be whether or not they are “copies” of each other. If the coupons have the same serial number when printed, then they are considered copies and you need to destroy all of them except one. Using copied coupons is illegal, plus they can track those coupons back to you if you use multiple printable coupons with the same serial number.

  2. It depends on the browser that you use. In Google Chrome you get the print preview window that allows you to select more than one copy of the same coupon so technically it’s not a unique coupon if you print more than one copy.
