Kmart 6/1 (Wayland) – Paid $6.35 on $58.93 Worth of Merchandise (89.2% Saved)

Team Couponaholic now has a Shop Your Way Personal Shopper account! Personal Shopper is a little bit of a misnomer, it’s more like “Personal Deal Finder,” ‘cuz while ya’ll are great, I’m not shopping for you, shopping for me is exhausting enough! ?? There are a few benefits though to having a personal shopper:

  • When you sign up, you’ll get a three month trial to SYW Max, which allows you to get free shipping on orders that are either over $30 or have a single item priced at over $10. There is no Credit Card required and it doesn’t automatically renew.
  • Most months, Shop Your Way sends out a few bucks in points to members who are signed up with a personal shopper that are valid for a couple of days. There is no guarantee this will continue in the future, but it’s happened almost every month that I’ve been watching. I’ll be sure to let you know in the blog and on Shop Your Way, when this is coming.
  • Personal Shoppers have the ability to send out store coupons to clients. What coupons are available tend to vary, but I definitely plan on sending out the best value coupon I can find to all clients on the first day of each Super Doubles.

To add me as your Personal Shopper, you’ll want to head over to Shop Your Way to sign in. You’ll then want to click *here* to make me your personal shopper.

kmart 6-1-16Kmart shopping is always an adventure.  Four the fourth time this week I walked into a Kmart and tonight was the first time I actually walked out with anything!  Not one of my trips to Kmart were derailed by items being out of stock.  The first two trips had various errors, from beeping coupons to incorrect prices on items.  Last night I went in and had a new problem, apparently the Kmart I was at was having problems with Shop Your Way being down.  My transaction planned was the exact one I did tonight, and given how many points I earned I’m glad I waited.  I’ve often said “At Kmart be prepared for something to go wrong.”

Tonight’s trip wasn’t a totally smooth one either, although the hiccups mostly worked out in my favor.  I have no idea where the extra $5 in points for “K BEAUTY CARE” came from, but I’m not going to complain.  Also after they scanned my “$5 Back in Points when you Spend $25 Kmart Coupon” all of a sudden the register refused to scan any more coupons.  There was quite a line behind me as they tried to figure it out and the other lines were backing up as well, so they ended up putting in all my coupons manually.  But hey, any trip that involves me walking out with 30 Double rolls of TP + other stuff and spending less than $10 bucks is a win in my book!

I’ve got a ton of updates coming your way tonight/tomorrow, so be ready, the deals aren’t over!

Why not just keep the boards up that is being used on a consistant basis?

    • Wayland P says:

I am not quite sure what you are asking here.

      • It is awesome to post deals but why do you post so many that have no chance of being replicated? A lot of your cvs trips are like this too…
I think you need to just post the deals not that “deals” you got by coupons or extra’s working out oddly in your favor.

        • Wayland P says:

I post deals multiple days of the week. They outline specific products that anyone (with the coupons) can do.

I post shopping trips that show my experience getting those deals, which may give other folks ideas for their own trips. I don’t expect anyone to ever copy my trip exactly, there are too many variables. Heck, regular prices can be different from one store to the next. (Or my experience at Kmart this week, sale prices sometimes.)

I am confused about your comment about CVS. I just checked my last month of CVS posts and I can only find one instance where something went funky. And that was shaving cream that was marked for extra bucks in the store, but did not print them and I had the cashier manually print them. (Which is part of the CVS coupon policy.)

          • Please keep in mind there are many many of us that appreciate your shopping posts whether they go as planned or not. The best trips for me are the ones that hold surprises. We may not be as vocal as the negative nellies but probably outnumber them by far. Keep up the great work!!

          • Wayland P says:

Thanks. I used to have a lot of transactions go horribly horribly wrong. I actually remember when I was a brand new write on the site, but not totally new to couponing, someone told me, that they felt better about themselves due to how often my trips would go wrong and yet still come out ok.

The only ones I don’t post are the ones that go so badly, I give up on the transaction entirely. Because I can’t make a post with this headline:

“Wayland – Paid $0 for $0 worth of merchandise (UNDEFINED Save)” 😉

I’ve had a good streak lately of things going to plan or scapping the trip entirely. That probably will go wrong with my next trip now that I say it.

          • Wayland P says:

If you wanna see a trip that went really wrong, this one always makes me chuckle, because despite it going wrong, I was happy at the end, because I made a MM of that Gift Card when I was told I couldn’t. 🙂
