Kmart SYW Members check your email! Possible Surprise Points Email!

Team Couponaholic now has a Shop Your Way Personal Shopper account! Personal Shopper is a little bit of a misnomer, it’s more like “Personal Deal Finder,” ‘cuz while ya’ll are great, I’m not shopping for you, shopping for me is exhausting enough! 😉 There are a few benefits though to having a personal shopper:

  • When you sign up, you’ll get a three month trial to SYW Max, which allows you to get free shipping on orders that are either over $30 or have a single item priced at over $10. There is no Credit Card required and it doesn’t automatically renew.
  • Most months, Shop Your Way sends out a few bucks in points to members who are signed up with a personal shopper that are valid for a couple of days. There is no guarantee this will continue in the future, but it’s happened almost every month that I’ve been watching. I’ll be sure to let you know in the blog and on Shop Your Way, when this is coming.
  • Personal Shoppers have the ability to send out store coupons to clients. What coupons are available tend to vary, but I definitely plan on sending out the best value coupon I can find to all clients on the first day of each Super Doubles.

To add me as your Personal Shopper, you’ll want to head over to Shop Your Way to sign in. You’ll then want to click *here* to make me your personal shopper.

supr pointsI got an email today from Kmart Shop Your Way Rewards saying that I have $5 in Surprise Points to spend before 7/15. That is $5 in FREE money. (Mine had only a $5 minimum purchase requirement, so it is *totally* free. The subject of the email stated “Wayland, you have surprise points! See how many inside.” Obviously, I doubt your email will have my name, but make sure to check your trash or spam in case it went to the wrong place in error. If you can’t find the email, you can always check it out your Surprise Points over at ShopYourWay. Or if you are not a ShopYourWay Member, go there and sign up!. Make sure you sign up for the emails and text alerts because they tend to send great stuff all the time! Always scour their emails for surprise coupons, that’s where I tend to get some great points back coupons. (And while you’re at it, if you haven’t already already, make sure to click *here* to make me your personal shopper.)

I tend to personally split my transactions up into transactions where I get points and transactions where I spend points. I usually earn my points in store and then spend them on or after going through a great cashback site like Ebates, which I then earn cash back on the points I spent! 🙂 (Which means for me, free points like from this email are a MONEYMAKER!!!)

So, did you get the points? Or possibly something else? What are you thinking about getting with them?

I logged in yesterday and got $10. Bought some vivitar speakers and got 100% back in points and I just logged in again and see that I have 10 more!

  2. Last week when you had the $3 points for everyone who followed you, I tried using the $1/1 glade coupons at Kmart and the register wouldn’t take it, kept saying error?

The cashier had to void all the glade items, which took forever
I got the evil stares from people behind me and I don’t blame them.

That’s odd because I used those same glade coupons at Walmart and Target and they worked just fine.

Btw, my Kmart stopped taking IPs and only takes manufacturer coupons!

Can I buy any grocery items using my $5 surprise points?
I read the exclusions and didn’t see that I can’t, let me know if I’m wrong on that.

Cuz I remember reading that I couldn’t use it on any grocery items whenever I would get those emails.

Kmart’s registers are funky. I’ve had identical coupons and it will take one, but not another.

As for not taking printables their policy states:

“We do not accept the following coupons: expired coupons, photocopies or counterfeit coupons, coupons from other retailers or coupons for products or services not carried in our stores, and print-at-home coupons (non-newspaper or periodical clipped coupons) for razors, alkaline batteries, alcohol or tobacco.”

Since it excludes specific printables, the rest should be fine.

And the ones I got don’t have all the exclusions this time, so it should be usable on Groceries. 🙂

  3. Thanks Wayland, will try it and give an update 🙂

  4. It worked like a charm!

$8 of free points in 2 weeks 🙂
