  1. Hold on…. stop the presses. I went to Target, and didn’t like the deal because I didn’t want to pay that much OOP.

I proceeded on to Publix which was a few minutes down the road. They have the 18 ct tampons for $4.50 – :O. Bought 8, used 4 BOGO coupons, and 4 of the store coupons, and had them pay me $15 on a gift card to walk out of the store. The reason the amount is so high is because when Publix scans it, it automatically takes the full $7.99 off – CRAZY. Got 12 boxes from 2 stores and ended up making $20 off of them.

  2. Correct me if I’m wrong…but the BOGO coupon isn’t for a “tampon only” box? It’s either for pads, liners or combo pack. To use the coupon correctly wouldn’t you need to buy (2) pads, liner or a combo packs. And use one BOGO coupon and one Publix store coupon?

    • Monica Bragg says:

You may be right about that one.

      • I realized that myself only after posting to my group on Facebook about it and having a fellow couponer point it out. Normally Playtex coupons include the tampons, but I didn’t read it correctly this time. I’m so sorry!!

  3. I just came here to report my money maker situation as well, til I read the rest of the above comment. So is it technically not allowed to use on the boxes with tampons only?

I only got 2 boxes for now since I didn’t realize it was a MM til checking out but will definitely go back for more if allowed.

    • Monica Bragg says:

Unfortunately from the way it reads it shouldn’t be used on just the tampon boxes.

  4. Yesterday I went to publix to do this deal, but the manager told me that even it is ringing $7.99 it is BOGO coupon,we will enter one box value manually. It didn’t work for me.

  5. How can this be a money maker?

Two boxes at $7.99 each, correct?

BOGO makes each both $4.00 apiece.

    Publix Q of $4.00 off 2 boxes makes them $2.00 a box.

I did just this scenario last night on 8 boxes and believe me, I made no money!

    • Steve Pinski says:

It didn’t turn out to be a moneymaker, however you must have missed the $4.49 smaller boxes that match the coupon. $0.49 total for two when you buy two and stack both coupons.

  6. Oh poop, I figured it out. You all bought the smaller boxes. I went for the higher-prices and higher value BOGO effect. Sorry!
