This picture looks a little excessively piggish, but it really isn’t. My Walgreens store had three different varieties of Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief and there were about a dozen of each, even though we are on the third day of the sale. I decided to pick up a bunch of these for two reasons. First, the Colgate coupon I had was set to expire in a few days. But the second reason was because the last time I picked up a few of these, the family vultures wiped me out immediately. Now they can get restocked and stay away for a while

I did seven transactions over at the quiet cosmetics counter. And the cashier I gave some Starbucks Register Rewards to before I went on my trip was working. Needless to say, she was all smiles and didn’t care that I was about to make her work overtime

I had big plans for my Sunday Walgreens trip and the fine print on the Hellmann’s coupons threw a big bomb on my scenario. (The coupon has a limit of two per trip.) So instead I picked up a freebie and a small moneymaker, plus I gave all my Starbucks Refreshers Register Rewards away to a cashier (who was once hostile, but is now nice) and a friend that drinks the Walgreens store brand nutritional shakes. Some of those Register Rewards are going to expire on 5/27, which is the evening I get back from my trip. I figured that I would not want to go shopping after spending 14 hours traveling.

I made a quick stop into Walgreens yesterday, but I can’t show you a picture of everything today because some of it has been consumed

I was hoping to find the Raspberry Pomegranate Starbucks Refreshers, but they still only had Strawberry Lemonade. I tried it again and it didn’t seem as bad the second time. In fact, I drank one last night and one this morning, and that’s why there are only four in the picture.

I did six identical transactions: Buy one Starbucks Refresher and use a FREE product coupon from the 4/29 Pepsi Moments to Save insert. I paid 7 cents of sales tax, but received a Register Reward for 99 cents each time. Excluding the sales tax, I made a $5.94 profit

I could have bought more than this at Walgreens, but my store was down to the last few Lanacanes and Witch Hazels, so I decided to have mercy on my fellow shoppers With the Starbucks Refreshers moneymaker coming this Sunday I figured I would have plenty of Register Rewards, so I didn’t mind spending a few today.

Vegas (my dog) just got a new dog house a few weeks ago and her favorite blanket has been placed inside it, so I decided to pick her up a dog bed that was on sale since we also have the Friends & Family discount today. Now she can lay on her bed when she’s not in her house.

Let me start by saying that we have a great week to shop at Walgreens. There are a ton of great deals, but I happen to be well-stocked on almost all of the ones that I actually use.
