save-a-lot-logoI just did a quick check on one of my go-to sites, the Save-a-Lot Facebook Page, and noticed that they have put up a new $5 off $25 printable coupon for February. If you shop at a Publix store that accepts Save-a-Lot competitor coupons and need multiples of this coupon, make sure you change the number of how many you’d like to print when the printer dialogue box opens prior to printing. Note that printing one and then making copies of that one would be fraudulent, so don’t do that.

Two notable deals from the new Save-a-Lot ad: Split Chicken Breasts and Russet Potatoes

save-a-lot-logoI always do a quick scan of the Save-a-Lot ad to see if there’s anything I should make sure you know about. There’s not a lot that’s useful in the new ad…unless you need split chicken breasts or russet potatoes. Otherwise, I’d sit this week out.

These prices are good from 1/16-1/29/13. I took these deals from my local St. Petersburg, FL ad and I recommend that you check your local ad or call your store if you live elsewhere to make sure they have these deals where you live.

Russet Potatoes 5 lb bag, $0.99/lb

Also, I don’t think I’ve ever bought a bone-in pork sirloin roast, but this seems like a good deal. (Feel free to comment if you know typical pricing for this item):

There are some hot deals on Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts in both my local Save-a-Lot and Sweetbay ads. I’m not sure if Save-a-Lot ads vary much regionally, so you may want to call your local store to confirm they have this deal. I’m planning on waiting a few days to see if they give us another great coupon on the Save-a-Lot Facebook page. (If you still have any $5 off $25 coupons that are valid, you can get 16 pounds for about $1.28 per pound after coupon. Unfortunately these are not available to print right now.)

I always do a quick scan of the store ads that I get in my junk mail and occasionally I find something notable. I found a few such deals in the new Save-a-Lot ad for the Tampa Bay, Florida area. I’m not sure how much regional variation there is with Save-a-Lot ads, so you may want to check your local ad first before shopping if you don’t live in my neck of the woods.

Here are the two notable deals that jumped off the page at me:

Here’s a great printable coupon for those of you that shop at Save-a-Lot or any store that accepts competitor coupons from them.

Right now you can head on over to the Save-a-Lot Facebook Page and print off a coupon good for $5 off a purchase of $25 or more. I plan on using this coupon at Publix tomorrow if I can get away from the computer long enough to shop. The first of the month is always a trying day with all the new coupons.
