Yep, I made it to Rite Aid tonight too. I finally feel like I am getting back to normal on my shopping schedule. I plan on doing the Olay rebate deal but the store only had the two packs of soap that you see in the picture. I was talking to one of my favorite cashiers and asking her if they had more in the back and she said they didnt. She did say that she would place a special order for me for 10 packs (that will come in next week) and write me a raincheck for the sale price and +Up Reward. So rather than buying other products I will wait until next week and get the bars when they come in. Unfortunately this hurt my savings percentage but I got diapers too. Here is how the rest of the trip went…

I really have had some great luck lately. (I made it to CVS this morning and got the Nivea tins but there is no need to post that since you guys know about it already.) It was an interesting run to say the least when I went to Rite Aid today. I had some rainchecks to use so I will note when I used a raincheck.

We had a little issue with the NatuRelief because they are on sale 50% off at my store but the national ad has them on sale for $6.oo and get a $6.oo +Up Reward. Apparently they can’t change the price of a clearance item higher so the cashier called the manager and he said that I could get it for 50% off and get the $6.00 +Up Reward loaded on a gift card. I was shocked when they told me this and a little disappointed that there was a limit of 1.

**Note to share from my cashier today. I do not know if this will be the case for everyone nor did she know (because I asked). If you are getting a raincheck for an item and the coupon may expire before the raincheck does then ask them to initial your coupons and you can still use them even if they expire.**

I stopped by Rite Aid today and got a few good deals. They were out of the Colgate so I had to get a raincheck for it. I was pretty tired so I forgot to use one of my coupons and the Act II did not generate the +Up like it was supposed to so they just put that on a gift card for me.

My local stores use a local ad and this time some of the items were included in the local ad as well as the national ad so I broke my transactions up and did the local ad in one transaction and the national ad in another just to keep everything easy for myself. The local stores will accept the national ad if you have it in your hand.  I printed the national ad from Rite Aid’s website and took it with me and that was sufficient. The other thing to note is that when you use the national ad at a store that uses a local ad +Up Rewards will not print. The store will take the +Up Rewards that you would have earned directly off of your order.

In transaction #1 I purchased the GE light bulbs which were not in the national ad (that I am aware of) but were in my local ad this week.
