CVS Trip 12/27/11 – Profit $0.13 on $95.21 Merchandise (100.1% Saved)

Let me preface by saying that I may screw up the last transaction by a few pennies. We misplaced one of our receipts, so I’m going off of memory on a few details. If I make a mistake it won’t be by much.

We actually bought a few things without coupons today. We both had $5 off $25 coupons, and I had a $5 off $15 Maybelline Cosmetics or Garnier Skin Care coupon that was emailed to me because I am a member of the Beauty Club (funny, because my roommate who uses all the cosmetics we buy isn’t in the club!) Also, I forgot to bring my coupon for $2 off 2 Illy Issimo Coffee products, so I’ll have to get those next time. We would have ended up with a few less items on transaction #4 that didn’t have coupons had I remembered them.

Hint: I sent my $5 off $25 directly to my card instead of printing the coupon. I printed the $5 off $15 Garnier/Maybelline coupon. The $5 off $15 coupon beeped, but it does not say that you can’t use it with another dollars off coupon. I suspect the $5 off $25 does say that if you print it. My cashier looked at the $5 off $15 and saw that it didn’t say anything against stacking it with another dollars off coupon and manually pushed it through. I recommend that you do the coupons the same way if you get them both…send the $5/$25 to your card and print the other one.
