This was a challenging week at Publix. Not only were the sales weaker than in recent weeks, but my roommate needed certain items for her holiday baking (cream, foil, condensed milk, nestle toll house chips), plus I needed more milk for my Cocoa and Fruity Pebbles I bought on last week’s sale. Then we ran into a snag because the Nestle Toll House coupons were regional and not in our inserts; luckily I found some $0.50/1 coupons online at two different sites. Between both of our computers we came up with a total of eight prints to save the day! I bought a few items (milk & heavy cream) without coupons, plus I bought a few items that weren’t on sale (aluminum foil & condensed milk) even though I had some coupons to lessen the blow a bit. I dug out a rain check on the Lysol from two weeks ago, plus I bought some more dog treats to get me to the $55 threshold to use both of my dollars off coupons.
