This is a deal I found by accident, but my dog will be happier for it I bought some coupons from a clipping service last week to go with this week’s sales, but I was still below their minimum order. Well, there weren’t really any other coupons I wanted, so I decided to pick something that I thought might make a good deal. I settled on a BOGO manufacturer coupon for Rachael Ray dog treats. Today I was getting ready to pitch my Publix “Who Loves You?” pet booklets because all the coupons were about to expire in a few days. Yet, for some reason unknown to me, I decided to open one up. I had completely forgotten about the Rachael Ray store coupon in the booklets for $1 off of dog treats.

Yet, when I looked at the BOGO coupon, there was some language that made me think that it might not match up with the Just 6 treats sold at Publix stores. The coupon states “Super Premium Dog Treats.” So I decided to go to Rachael Ray’s pet food web site to find what these premium products were. Lucky for me (and maybe you too), there were no “super premium dog treats” in the product line, although the Nutrish line of dog food is referred to as “super premium.” Apparently, Rachael Ray just thinks very highly of all of her dog treats Furthermore, the pictures on the coupon looked just like the bags on the shelves at my Publix. So I bought a few bags and if you have the coupons, you can too! Here’s how the deal works:

BUY TWO RACHAEL RAY NUTRISH JUST 6 DOG TREATS 10 oz. bag, regular price $2.99 each
Use two $1/1 Rachael Ray Nutrish Just 6 Dog Treats, Publix store coupon, “Who Loves You?” pet booklet (exp. 11/23/11)
and use one BOGO Rachael Ray Nutrish Dog Treats, any variety manufacturer coupon, 11/13/11 SS newspaper insert (exp. 12/11/11)
FINAL COST: $0.99 total – only $0.49 per bag!

UPDATE: Although the booklet coupon expires 11/23, you have up until December 7th to do this deal by printing this $1 off of one store coupon from Publix’s web site (link to coupon.) There is also another coupon you can print from the manufacturer if you don’t have any BOGO coupons left (link to coupon.) There was also $1 off of one coupon in the 9/11 SS newspaper insert as well.
