CVS (Monica) – $1.57 PROFIT on $30.38 worth of merchandise (105.2% savings)

I hit the jackpot!! Well not really, but it kinda felt a little like what I think it would feel like to hit the jackpot. Hopefully I didn’t lose you on that last sentence. I stopped in CVS (well a couple of them on my way home) tonight to see if I could catch any of the Thomas toothbrushes that are on clearance but every store was empty. I decided to do the Pepsi/Revlon deal once I walked in and remembered that Dr. Pepper was bottled by Pepsi here. Then, I went over to get my nail polishes and what did I find. A shelf tag left from last week that said “Get $4 ECB when you buy $10 in Revlon cosmetics”. I really didn’t think that they would honor it since it was last week’s sale but I asked and they did. One more note, I did all of this in one transaction to see if I could answer some questions that you guys had about whether or not you could purchase more than five Pepsi in the same transaction and them still be $.77. The answer is YES! So here is how the night went…

CVS 7/15 – Paid $0.29 on $40.06 of Merchandise (99.3% Saved)

I was really, really pleased with the trip I made to CVS this morning. I had a bunch of expiring ECBs from all the moneymakers over the past month and I was able to get all of them spent, other than the ones that don’t expire for a while. I was planning on buying a Schick Razor and my store was entirely out of all of them that were on sale, but I luckily found Cremo Shave Cream in the same aisle that had a Try Me Free peelie. Had I not found that, I probably would have bought a ton of Diet Mountain Dew so I could use up my expiring Extra Care Bucks and hit the required $20 to use my $4 off coupon.

I only did one transaction today. Here’s what I bought, along with the coupons used:
