UPDATE - As of 2 am Eastern time Sunday, the Cottonelle deal is not producing a Register Reward. I did one transaction with two of the blue 12-packs and another transaction with two of the purple packs. Neither one produced the $3 Catalina. It is possible, however, that Catalina did not upload the offer yet, so we’ll see what others have to say later in the day.

UPDATE #2 – The Catalina deal is now posted over at Coupon Network and Walgreens IS NOT participating, so it’s a no-go.

There are reports that a new national Catalina for Cottonelle Toilet Paper will be starting on 2/12 and running through 3/4. Get $3 Register Rewards when you buy two Cottonelle 12-packs or $4 when you buy three. Last time this deal ran, only the purple packages of Cottonelle 12-packs generated the rewards at Walgreens. The previous time the blue 12-packs did too. I’ll let you know which ones are working once I do the deal in the wee hours of the morning.

And why will I be doing the deal? On Sunday 2/12 (and only Sunday 2/12), the toilet paper gods will be shining upon us. We have a coupon from the 1/15 Smartsource newspaper insert that expires on 2/12. Depending on your region, the coupon is for $0.50 or $1 off of one 12-pack of Cottonelle Bath Tissue. (It also has another option if you buy a few smaller packs, but that’s irrelevant for our deal.) There’s also a $1 off Walgreens coupon in the Walgreens February Coupon Book found near the weekly ads at most stores.
