Publix 5/17 – Profit $0.94 on $50.72 of Merchandise (101.9% Saved)

I’m leaving town in a few days, so I decided to use this trip to tie up a few loose ends before I left. (I wouldn’t want my dog to get stuck eating only dry food before I get back. She’s going to be depressed enough with me gone!) Even though my Beneful raincheck covers ten items, I didn’t think I’d come up with enough coupons to buy the full ten, so I just used the raincheck today so I could pick up some more wet dog food with the overage. (I’m running a little low.) I also decided to eat a “bad” meal today and it was oooohh sooooo good. The deli special on the Mojo Pork Sub Meal is outstanding! BTW, the drink and half the sub were gone before I took the picture!

I didn’t want to buy anything that would waste while I was gone and I didn’t have any special requests from the roommate, so I didn’t buy too much. Here’s the list of what I bought and the coupons used:

As I’ve briefly mentioned earlier, I’m headed out of town next week and I’m trying to keep up with all the new deals and coupons that have been surfacing as I prepare for my trip. I’m also working on writing some posts for next week that are not time sensitive, that way we can have a full day’s posts each day while I’m gone. Both Naomi and I will be writing about the new coupons and deals regularly while I am out of town, although I’ll be trimming back my hours temporarily next week.

With that in mind, I don’t really have the time to do the Publix ad matchups this week. (This is the most time-consuming post; I usually spend about 3-4 hours writing it.)

The nice $1/3 Bacardi Mixers printable coupon has returned and the timing is good because these are currently BOGO at Publix.
