Today was a great day for me at CVS. I stopped in quickly to redeem my free body wash coupon because it won’t be valid by the time I return from my trip, plus I decided to use the remainder of my free Good ‘n Natural bar coupons from the 5/6 Red Plum newspaper insert. Normally I would hold these until the expiration date to see if we could get an ECB or RR deal, but I needed some healthier snack options for my trip. (I’m packing a bunch of Larabars too that I bought recently at Vitacost with some Refer-a-Friend credits.)
Anyways, here’s what I bought, along with the coupons used:
ONE CVS ESCAPE BODY WASH, regular price $2.37
Used one FREE CVS Body Wash coupon from Minute Clinic printable -no longer available
NET PRICE: FREE!
Note: This coupon actually deducted $3, but I forgot that it was doing that and I wasn’t prepared for it, so instead of getting the overage it just made them adjust it at the end because my balance would’ve went below zero. Ooops mistake on my part!
FIVE GOOD ‘N NATURAL BARS, regular price $1.27
Used five FREE Good ‘n Natural Bar coupons, 5/6 RP newspaper insert
NET PRICE FOR ALL: FREE!
Total Retail Value of All Merchandise: $8.72
Net Price Paid for Everything: $0.00
Savings Rate: 100%
By the way, is it just me or does that picture of the body wash look like a glass of beer?
