CVS 6/18 (Maureen) – $15.38 Profit on $39.82 in Merchandise (138.6% Saved)

NEVER MISS A HOT DEAL! SUBSCRIBE TO OUR DAILY EMAIL NEWSLETTER!

I didn’t get much this week at CVS, but I knew I wanted the Maybelline deal and had a Red Machine coupon for Maybelline expiring today, so I made a very quick trip for the few choice deals I really wanted.  On a tip from a CVS shopper on another forum, I knew the Garnier Fructis sale might include the leave-in conditioning cream and that it qualifies as a style product for the SavingStar rebate (I checked the UPC before I bought, and it does).

My condolences to all our CVS shopping friends who missed the $3/1 Maybelline printable and SavingStar offer that appeared this morning and vanished by early afternoon.  If you were lucky enough to get the $3/1 insert Maybelline mascara coupon in today’s paper (mine did not have it), you can still get a great deal.

The Enjoy Life products are currently 20% off at CVS, making the price lower than any other retailer I know of (look in the area that usually has holiday candy and other seasonal products if you don’t see them with other cookies).  I have eight different Enjoy Life rebates in my Checkout51 account, but you will only see them if you log into your account using a mobile app because the rebates require barcode verification.  A note on the ibotta rebates: I have two CVS rebates for Enjoy Life.  One is for soft-baked cookies (6.0 ounces) and one is for any Enjoy Life product.  The barcode for the soft-baked cookies was not recognized by ibotta, but the crunchy cookies scanned just fine for the “any” product rebate.  Since I did get the right soft-baked product, I will eventually get the $1 rebate, so I am including it in my breakdown.

  1. Here’s another Walmart FYI – –
A lot of variaties of the The Enjoy Life cookies, are actually a little cheaper at Walmart. (I have to purchase 3, in order to get a $4.00 IBOTTA rebate).

The Soft Baked Double Chocolate Brownie cookies are $3.62
The Soft Bake Snicker Doodles cookies are $3.78
The Crunchy Chocolate Chip are $3.44

And they have a higher priced Vanilla Honey Graham cookie that is $4.18

    • Although……..that doesn’t factor in you receiving the $1.50/$5.00 CVS coupon like Maureen did 🙂

  2. So, is there any way, in advance to know if your CVS carries a brand?
I stopped by my CVS yesterday to do the Enjoy Life deal….and they don’t have it.

It’d be so awesome to know this before I go?

    Thanks

    • Maureen says:

You can usually check the CVS online database for stores in your zip code, but CVS’s grocery products are not always on the website, either because the products are new or because they are seasonal. I spotted five different Enjoy Life cookie and bar products in a section that usually has holiday candy and is currently filled with “picnic” products. They weren’t with the other cookies in the regular grocery aisle. I should probably make a note of that in my post.
