My Publix is still on the old ad through tonight and I had to make one more trip. I was craving some cereal, so I bought some Silk items even though they weren’t on sale. That high-value coupon makes for a decent deal anyways. I also had to grab more soda while it was dirt cheap too.

I used a $5 off $40 Winn-Dixie competitor coupon, so there’s an extra $5 of savings beyond what is listed with the items below. If you want to get this coupon, buy anything at Winn-Dixie and there will be a survey link on your receipt. Go do that survey and they will offer you a $5 off $40 printable coupon.

You get a picture of my grocery cart, because I didn’t want to drag everything into the house for a picture.

Here’s what I bought, along with the coupons used:

Used one $2/2 Silk or So Delicious Half Gallon or larger printable coupon (preclipped)
NET PRICE FOR ALL: $4.62 (or $2.31 each!)

NINE PEPSI PRODUCT 12-PACKS (MTN DEW/MIST), on sale B2G1 $5.29 ($31.74 total with sale)
THREE STACY’S PITA CHIPS, on sale B2G1 $3.49 ($6.98 total with sale)
Used three FREE Pepsi 12-pack 12 oz cans AND FREE Doritos 9.5-11.5 oz or Stacy’s 6.75-8 oz when you buy TWO Pepsi Product 12-pack 12 oz cans Publix store coupons, tearpad found on in-store display or 1/15 SS insert (regional) – each coupon deducted $8.78 ($5.29 for Pepsi & $3.49 for Stacy’s)
NET PRICE FOR ALL: $12.38 (or $1.03 per item!)

Total Retail Value of All Merchandise: $64.70
Net Price Paid for Everything: $12
Savings Rate (excluding tax): 81%

Extreme Couponing Tip: You can usually get two prints of most internet coupons. To find them in the easiest possible way, use our preclipped links that take you right to the coupon. Then come back and click the same link to get your 2nd print. This will save you the time spent searching for the coupon.

  1. Good morning Steve,
I think I may be missing how the tally ended up being $10.00 paid. I am coming up with $12.00.
($4.62 for the Silk and $12.38 for the Pepsi/Stacy combo deal = $17.00 minus the $5.00 W/D coupon)
What is it that I am not seeing?

Can you say caffeine rush (lol) !!

    • Steve Pinski says:

Hahaha you’re not the one missing something. That would be me. Apparently I can’t add. You are right.
