This will be the last Winn Dixie trip of 2016 for me. Winn Dixie had some pretty good deals for items I wanted, and I had a rain check for the Philadelphia Cream Cheese twin pack that I needed to use. All other sales are current. I used a $5/$40 Winn Dixie total-order coupon, a courtesy coupon for completing a shopping experience survey. Information about earning this coupon is at the end of every Winn Dixie register receipt. The $5 savings from this coupon is factored into the final tally. My Winn Dixie allows a coupon on the free item in a BOGO, but some Winn Dixie stores do not.

  1. My cashier yesterday, wouldn’t allow the system to auto-deduct the $1.49 for the Avocados!!!
She noticed it and said they wouldn’t allow it to be more than what I paid for it. After a 5 minute discussion about the coupon, their store policy, and the sale price she stated that:

She would only allow $.90 (on the $.89 cent purchase)…………….too funny !!!

I made her write the price right then, on the coupon. (as I told her they would get the full $1.49 when they submitted the coupon so if I wasn’t going to be getting it, neither were they).

  2. That’s a good point about the eggs! I’m going to check them out now, I’m betting the size difference between the medium and large isn’t that great anyway but the price difference is crazy! Thanks, I love seeing deals on produce, dairy and meat.
