Hey guys! I love your site. I teach a how to coupon class to single moms and couponaholic is the biggest thing I promote to them. So Thanks for all your hard work!! We really appreciate it. I’m writing today to see if you guys can help me out. We live in Baton Rouge, LA. My husband and I run a general contracting company so we are swamped with putting peoples houses back together after the flood. I haven’t been able to coupon in a month so it’s driving me nuts! Anyway, I was talking to a friend yesterday who’s house had 5′ of water in it. They had to throw out everything. I was hoping that y’all could look for deals on things like bedding, linens, and small kitchen appliances. I could really help these ladies get their houses back to being stocked with things we take for granted like toasters, sheets, towels, and coffee pots. Once they get their house back together they have to buy new furniture and large appliances. This is really going to get expensive for them and I know every so often kohl’s has a great rebate deal on small appliances but I don’t have time right now to dig for those. So if you could find and post those it would be greatly appreciated!! I do check couponaholic daily and I get your newsletters so I will be sure to see anything you post! Thanks!

Hey Tess. Sorry to hear about all the problems your friend is having. One of my best friends’ parents live in Denham Springs and they lost everything too. I will keep an eye out for things like that. I did a quick check on Kohl’s web site and didn’t see any rebates featured on small appliances, but if I see something I will write it up.

One of the people that works on the site, Wayland, lost his house to a fire a few years ago. After it was rebuilt, he got some great deals on his kitchen appliances doing points deals at Kmart/Sears. It may be good to keep them on your radar screen too.
