cvs 7-6-16So I got all sorts of thrown off this week with the holiday Monday.  I had planned on posting the CVS Red Coupon Machine request after I went shopping.  But the three stores I went to were out of the $8.99 Venus Razors.  So I ended up hitting some different stores after work yesterday and those two were out of them as well.  Finally I tried one more tonight and they were out too, so I made do with what I could find.  But because I didn’t post the trip like I planned, I totally forgot to post the coupon request.  I figure a lot of folks are on vacation, so hopefully I didn’t miss too many great matchups!

Great deals! My CVS deducted the max value $4.49 for the Oreo.

  2. Lindsey V says:

I love it when CVS lets you double dip! I not only had the $3 off Physicians Formula Q, But also a $5 off $15 PF Q that I had gotten last week. I was able to use both along with a 15% off purchase mailed Q for a small MM on a $16 product!

  3. Amanda Barnier says:

Question about the Venus Razor deal. Get $10 in Extra Bucks when you buy ONE Gillette or Venus Razor and ONE Cartridge Refill.

You bought 2 razors but still got the extrabucks? You don’t have to buy the cartridge pack? Thanks!

  4. Smartsource is not printing on any of my electronics, even when I use the required software.. ugh!!!

  5. Tried to print the $5/1 Arnicare Arthritis printable coupon just got a bunch of errors on the page

  6. Ken from Philly says:

Wayland (or Steve), on the Oreo Checkout51 rebate, since you got 6 total, with the three buy 2 get one free coupons, how is it you did not get $12.50 (the max 5x), or at least the 4 actually paid for? I am planning my trip and was looking at this really padding it for me….

    • Steve Pinski says:

The deal was $2.50/2, so buying six only gets you the deal 3x. The checkout51 cashback offer expired on 7/6, so you’re not going to be able to do this deal anyways.

      • Ken from Philly says:

Wow I got punked! Did get my buy 2 get one free deal twice, reg. $2.37, $1 on sale, so can’t complain about the price, and rest of shopping trip was good (posted below). It’s still on my app but it does say ends 7/6 at midnight and it ran a similar thing ending 6/29, so who knows? Checkout51 is tough to get paid with, I find. Ibotta and Savingstar much easier systems. I have way more earned in those two.

  7. Ken from Philly says:

6 Oreos, minus the $7.50, so that fish got away. But did the Pantene 3/$12, along with a Bounty and Charmin to get over the $#0 for $10 ECB. Had Coupons of $1 Bounty, $1 Charmin, CVS $2 Charmin on $9.99 (printed after a receipt from earlier purchase), Sally Hansen $9.99 with $3 coupon and $5 ECB, Hunts snack pack pudding x 3 for $1 ea., used $20 ECB on purchase, out of pocket under $10, but lost out on Pantene rebates as well as Oreo (and $4 Ch51 Arnicane Arthritis, I passed on as it expired early), otherwise with better timing it would have been profitable.

I saved my $10 off $40 facial recommended for this week’s $9.50 BOGO 50% Vichy, new ad has a spend $30 get $10 ECB for regular priced Vichy and I recently got a CVS email 30% off NON-sale items. Paired with the $7 coupons on 4 it is a better deal to wait, haven’t decided what else to get to add to $40 (I am also $2.50 away from next Beauty $5 ECB). 9.50 Vichy x 4 = $38. 30% off is either $11.40 off gross of $38 or $9 off $28 net. 4 x $7 mfr coupon is $28, so after the $10 ECB I think this is a big MM. I have a couple of Zantac deals to complete (one a raincheck on the $2 ECB, with CVS save $5 Zantac 65 ct + emailer and a juicy mfr coupon, and $3 off of $18 any antacid, and 30% off!) and Duo Fusion, $6 coupons and 30% off and Ibotta/Savingstar rebates (at least $6.50) so it will be interesting, hope I gave you some ideas, Steve and Wayland! You’re doing a great job, teaching us!!
