cvs-071016I had a great trip to CVS on Sunday night. Almost everything went as planned, with just one exception. The store I visited was not one that carried the Vichy products. It was pretty late and I decided not to try another store. Also, because it was late I decided to go to my nearest CVS store, even though it seems to have higher regular prices. If I had gone to one of my other stores, the Scope (and possibly the Revlon) would have been cheaper.

Also note that the Revlon coupons expired on Sunday evening, so you won’t be able to mimic that deal. Here’s what I bought, along with the coupons used:

I had those same razor redbox coupons and i bought the same razors. I also was able to use a 5.00/20.00 razor coupon. Nice to pay 3.00 or so for two razors. I also had a 3.00/1 physicians formula coupon and used it to get my makeup free. Now if only my tax was lower in my city. 10% yikes.

Ouch 10%. Here is is 7% total (6% state and 1% county – but food and health care items are exempted from sales tax.)

  2. Felicia says:

CVS sent me a $2 off Nivea CVS coupon that expired on Sunday. I was able to get to the store yesterday and take advantage of it.

  3. Question – I have a 30% coupon and a $2 off $6 mouthwash – do I need to spend $6 Before or after the percentage off? In other words, would 2@ 3.79 before the discount make me eligible for the $2 off? Thanks

    • Steve Pinski says:

You should be able to use both as long as you are $6 before the coupons. However, the percentage will be re-calculated at the end so it only gives you 30% off the total after the store coupon has already been deducted.
