walgreens-0630Whoa! I just had an AWESOME trip to Walgreens. If you haven’t read my post yet about ANOTHER overlapping Clip2Card offer with the Walgreens Paperless Coupons, you need to read it now. Also, I just logged in now after returning from the store and noticed that the $4/3 Crest coupon shows as redeemed, but the two Clip2Card offers do not. (Perhaps we can do a second deal with them? 1. Glad the overlapping coupon worked for you also. I had not even thought about that happening when I had the cashier scan the in ad coupon first.

  2. Could you have used your rewards from first order? Or will it take away from totals needed?

    • Steve Pinski says:

I did use them, but I didn’t mention it so I could keep the math a little more straightforward for folks.

The reason why I was able to use the RR was because I did not use any manufacturer’s coupons on the lemonade. Otherwise, I would have had more coupons than items and the register would not have allowed it.

      • Thank you, I will be heading out the door to do this deal.

        • Steve Pinski says:

          you’re welcome!

          • A couple months ago there was an awesome deal with Charmin toilet paper. I had a 5,000 points Clip to card coupon on a $20.00 purchase. I had some extra manufacturers coupons and went to another Walgreens nearby and bought more and they awarded me with another 5,000 points to my surprise. Turns out it was sitting in my account and I used it 3 more times on multiple days until the expiration date. Another reason to love Walgreens!

          • Steve Pinski says:

Wow! Cool! I may have to give it another shot to see if I can do it again!

  3. Isabelle says:

For some reason, when I use the $3 coupons and $1 coupon, i did not receive the 5000 points. Manager said it was because of the coupons that brought my subtotal below the $20 purchase. Sucks!

    • Steve Pinski says:

That won’t prevent it. There is some other reason. Did you use a Walgreens gift card or redeem any points? If so, that’s why you didn’t get the points.

      • Isabelle says:

I did use points…but the manager insisted that it’s because I use the coupons. Oh well….lesson learned.

        • Steve Pinski says:

Yeah…most of these Walgreens managers don’t know how their own system works. Don’t trust that they are giving you accurate information.
