cvs-032016We had a great little trip to CVS today! We were going to do a few more deals, but because of pricing we chose not to do them. The Physicians Formula Concealers started at $7.49 at the store we visited, not $6.99, and Stephanie isn’t close to needing another one yet; $1.49 seemed too much to pay after Extra Bucks. The Garnier Fructis Shampoos & Conditioners were priced at $4.49 each, and $0.49 is too much to pay for them with such a nice stockpile of hair care in our house.

So…here’s what we bought, along with the coupons used:

ONE SOFTSOAP BODY WASH, on sale $3.49 (reg. price $4.49)
Used one $1.50/1 Softsoap Body Wash CVS store coupon, printing for everyone at Red Coupon Machine
and used one $1/1 Softsoap Body Wash 15 oz or larger printable manufacturer’s coupon (preclipped)
NET PRICE: $0.99!

ONE PALMOLIVE DISH LIQUID, on sale $0.99 (reg. price $1.67)
Used one $0.25/1 Palmolive printable coupon (preclipped)
NET PRICE: $0.74!

FOUR WET N WILD EYE LINERS, reg. price $0.99
ONE WET N WILD LIP LINER, reg. price $0.99
ONE WET N WILD LIPSTICK, reg. price $0.99
TWO WET N WILD NAIL POLISH, reg. price $0.99
Get $4 Extra Bucks when you buy $8 of Wet N Wild ($7.92 will trigger)
Used four $0.75/1 Wet N Wild Eye Cosmetic coupons, 3/13 SS insert
and used four $0.50 Wet N Wild Cosmetic Product coupons, 3/13 SS insert
Price at Register: $2.92, but received $4 Extra Bucks

Total Retail Value of All Merchandise: $14.08
Net Price Paid for Everything: $0.65
Savings Rate (excluding tax): 95.4%

Extreme Couponing Tip: You can usually get two prints of most internet coupons. To find them in the easiest possible way, use our preclipped links that take you right to the coupon. Then come back and click the same link to get your 2nd print. This will save you the time spent searching for the coupon.

  1. You know you’re a true couponer when .49 cents is too much to pay for shampoo (when you already have a big stockpile). I thought the same thing when I saw that deal. Unless it’s free, no can do

    • Steve Pinski says:

Hahahah some areas have them for $3.99, but I didn’t know if my store was one of them. I took the coupons, but I couldn’t pull the trigger 😉

    • I thought the same thing, but I did pick up two Garnier hairspray as they were 2/8.00.

  2. I’m the same way 🙂

  3. None of the CVSs near me (east central FL) carry anything Wet N Wild brand 🙁

  4. jamie allen says:

my cvs said i cant use both coupons togheter like the red box and a manufacturer

    • Steve Pinski says:

Well…your store is wrong. The ad explicitly states the Red Box coupon on the Softsoap deal AND tells you there’s a manufacturer’s coupon to use too (plus the CVS coupon policy allows stacking.)
