  1. Xtra detergent…couldn’t get from your preclipped…is there a zip code associated with it?

    • Steve Pinski says:

Coupon is gone now. If you bought newspapers last Sunday, check to see if you got the $1/2 coupon there. Most folks also got the coupon in their 2/21 SmartSource.

  2. Is it okay to use someone else’s card in same visit?

    • Steve Pinski says:

Whether it is allowed depends on the store. My store knows Stephanie and she shops with me most of the time. My cashiers don’t care since they know her and that she is a real person who shops at their store.

  3. Help me out… At my CVS, coupons that come to more than item purchased will not go through. That is fine except it throws the cashiers into a tizzy. These overages didn’t seem to phase previous cashiers. Has something changed at CVS or do I just have untrained cashiers. I always know the issue with the cash register is overages on the coupons but they just don’t seem to want to listen to me. I try to explain to please adjust the amount of the coupon discount and all will be fine but they insist on making it a huge deal that takes so much time. Unfortunately, I only have one CVS store in town and I really have liked shopping there in the past. Advice? I know carrying the coupons guidelines has become a must when it was never an issue before.

    • Steve Pinski says:

Most of the store coupons say that the dollars are off the total purchase that includes the specified items. Perhaps they will see it differently if you point that out and they see that the discount from those store coupons are not off the specific items.
