  1. Perfect timing….I received a $2.50 off $12 deodorant, including dry spray from red coupon machine on Monday. Thanks for the posting!!!

  2. I did this deal & SavingStar did credit for the Axe Dry Spray.

  3. This is for Steve or Monica or any of the other great folks who help us plan our shopping trips:
Ibotta INTIMIDATES the devil out of me; can one of you give me a quick OVERVIEW of how it works.

I follow your posts all week and make a habit out of SHOPPING. One of my NEW YEARS’ RESOLUTIONS was to get “on board” with a couple more ways to save; i.e Cartwheel and Ibotta.

Thanks for taking the time to “teach this old dog some new tricks”

Ibotta is probably one of the easiest programs. For each offer there are a couple of super simple tasks to complete to get the offer. Once you have purchased the product you will scan your receipt, and the barcode and select the offer and the money will be stored in your Ibotta account. Once you reach the minimum threshold you can choose how you want to withdraw your money.

I was under the impression that as long as you added the offer to your list, you were able to redeem it. This is not always the case, and I had to learn the hard way. I had added the Axe and Degree offers yesterday morning and went to upload my receipt early this morning, and the offers were no longer there. I wasn’t aware that the either the expiration can change, or they can just pull the offer after so many redemptions. From now on, I will upload my receipt when I get into the car, or when I get home, because it was a big shocker.
