  1. I was told by another couponer than purchased based coupons at cvs are now calculated after coupons. In your example, you would not hit the $14 limit to get thr $4 off because your 4-$1 coupons would bring your “purchase” to $10. Please let me know how this worked out as I have the same coupon. Thanks

I just got back from the store 15 minutes ago. It came off as expected.

    • It actually depends on your store and if the cashier knows what they are doing. I’ve had that happen to me at a local store that I don’t go to often (where they wouldn’t take my manufacturer coupons because my total was lower than the purchase based limit w/ CVS coupon) and then everything went through fine at two other stores in my area. When I told the cashier at the store where everything went through what had happened previously, she explained that the CVS system changed back in October and now they have to hit buttons in a correct order (or something like that). She said that if that ever happens again to call a manager over to “override” it because essentially the cashier is not doing things right on their end.

  2. I’ve had 2 weird transactions lately. The first was my Renuzit transaction. I bought 7 and had a 1.50 off 5.00 sent to my card. I had the raincheck for .79 ea. The system would not honor the 1.50 off, said I didn’t reach the amount. The other was today. I bought 4 of the Lady Speedsticks and had a $2.50 off $12.00 deodorant CRT. She scanned the CRT and my 2 BOGO coupons but it didn’t take off the 2.50. I noticed this after the fact so I lost the CRT. Idk what’s going on but I’m not happy. Same store, same cashier.

  3. Where is the $4/$14 off coupon? I didn’t get one from red machine & don’t see one to print. thanks!

    • Steve Pinski says:

Not everyone gets the same coupons from the Red Coupon Machine. Many of us got it a week or two ago.

  4. Where do you find the CVS store coupon?

  5. Its the same deal for the softsoap with the cvs and manufacturer coupons. I got them all for free after ecbs.
