cvs-010316I had a great trip to CVS this morning! There are some other great deals this week, but I decided to stick to the items that either we needed, wanted (M&M’s – lol) or were moneymakers! I did my rebate items in transaction all by themselves so I had nice clean receipts to submit. I haven’t looked at the rebate form yet, so I don’t know if they will be moneymakers. I’m guessing that the rebate will be for the price after coupons, so that is how I am going to calculate it below. (But who knows…maybe I’ll get lucky?)

  1. Our CVS had christmas m&m 11.40oz bags on clearance for $1.09 each. After $1/2 coupon I got them for $0.59 each.

  2. Heather R says:

I scanned my saving star card for CVS at the beginning of my transactions for the centrum and thermacare, but I can’t tell if it registered my purchases or not. How will I know? I’m a Newbie to saving star 🙂

    • Steve Pinski says:

SavingStar credit shows up in your SavingStar account about about 3-7 days later for CVS purchases.

  3. What is a saving star card??

    • Monica Bragg says:

Savingstar is a cash back program. It doesn’t require a card it just requires you to load your loyalty cards for certain stores online. It will track your qualifying purchases when you swipe that store’s loyalty card. For the stores that do not have loyalty cards you can submit your receipt through their app or online.

  4. If use ECBs to pay for Dulcolax and Zantac and submit for rebate will still get? Since subtotal will say $0.

  5. Stephanie says:

I had a $6.00/MF coupon w/CVS logo for Zantac in my stash!! So only $2.99 OOP for me!!

  6. Stephanie says:

I bought the Thermacare without checking my Savingstar first…I didn’t have the offer!!! Oh well, at least I got some extra care bucks out of it!

    • Steve Pinski says:

Sometimes they hit max activations and disappear. However, if you activate the offer it will stay in your account until the expiration date.

Tip: We seem to see a lot of SavingStar offers on the first of the month and on Sundays. Always check on those days and activate everything so you are ready for sales you find out about later.
