Walgreens-freeHere is our list of Walgreens deals that are free or nearly free in the weekly ad starting 11/8. If you want to check out the full weekly ad and coupon matchups for the week of 11/8 – 11/14 at Walgreens, go here. If you are shopping later in the week, I strongly advise that you check out our Walgreens Category to see if there’s anything new since we published the weekly ad matchups and this list.

Don’t forget that Walgreens now allows you to cash in points on smaller totals. See the breakdown below. Also, DO NOT redeem points if you plan on earning points on a transaction. If you do that, you will not earn the new points.

1,000 Points = $1
2,000 Points = $2
3,000 Points = $3
5,000 Points = $5
10,000 Points = $10
18,000 Points = $20
30,000 Points = $35
40,000 Points = $50

Also note that Walgreens changed their coupon policy in late May 2014. There are quite a few changes and you can read more about them here.

  1. hi^^ I have two questions. To trigger point boostt spend 30, get 5000point
1.can I earn it buying giftcard??

    2.if I purchase 60dollars, do I need to seperate transition to get 10, 000points??

    thanks for sharing

    • Steve Pinski says:

      1. No you can’t earn the points booster 5000 points when you buy gift cards
      2. You must split into multiple transactions to earn the points twice. Only 5000 points booster bonus per transaction.

  2. Also $3 Catalina printing when you buy two Viva paper towels!!!

  3. why do you have use 2 –$4.00 manuf and 1 $3/2 for Centrum gummies? How many bottles are you buying? Can’t you just use 2 of the $4.00 and get the 2 bottles?

    • Steve Pinski says:

The $3/2 coupon is a store coupon, not a manufacturer’s coupon. You can buy only two and use that store coupon with the two manufacturer’s coupons.

  4. I was thinking I could only use 2 coupons, as it was 2 items; thank you for clarifying.

  5. Hi there. Just curious since I’m new to couponing… I want to buy Zantac since it is on sale this week. I have a $3 manufacturer coupon from coupons.com, a $3 IVC from Walgreens’ October coupon book, and a 20x everyday points on your next purchase of an antacid Catalina. Am I allowed to use all 3 of them for the same transaction or no?

    • Steve Pinski says:

I think so, because the general rule in the coupon policy is ONE manufacturer’s coupon plus Walgreens coupon(s) for each item. Note the “s”, so I think the register will take both. I recommend that you attempt to use the 20x everyday points Catalina last in case it does not go through (since it has the lowest value.)

  6. I cannot get the Canada Dry TEN coupon to print, and I really want the TEN. Love the taste as it is so close to original, compared to the diet, which I cannot drink! Is there a zipcode that needs to be included in that one?
Thanks for all the helpful clues and time you spend creating the blogs!
