target-091415I had a GREAT trip to Target this morning. I was a little late getting out the door, but it was a stroke of luck! My mail arrived and I had a $25 Target Gift Card reward from Verizon’s loyalty program, so I didn’t even have to spend any money out of pocket today. Even better, while I was slacking off getting ready, we learned about the Proganix moneymaker deal.

I guess today is my lucky day…at least as far as shopping goes 😉

Here’s what I bought, along with the coupons used:

  1. The Proganix quiz is back up and I was just able to print the coupons.

  2. I was denied a cartwheel at my target! They said bec. Then it would be free with the 1$ coupon !

    • Steve Pinski says:

That’s crazy! I can’t believe they did that to you. You’re allowed to use both, even if it ends up free.

  3. They denied my cartwheel too, But I fought the good fight and won, They said it didn’t match, Then said it was out of date, I pointed everything out to them, And they took it. What a freaking nightmare.

    • That’s so silly. If the Cartwheel doesn’t match, it won’t apply to your transaction when you scan it, period. I hate it when cashier’s act like you’re taking money our of their paycheck, or are simply jealous. Target gets reimbursed for the $1.00 coupon, so they’re not giving them away for free. Ugh.

  4. My target would not allow me to receive a gift card and to use the $5.00 off $20.00 Rather the register deducted the $5.00 giftcard from my purchase making it $2 and some change under the $20 threshold. It really stinks that this varies from Target to Target.

  5. *fingers crossed* I am going to try the Proganix scenario in about an hour. Here’s hoping they will PM all 4 of them!

  6. I did the Proganix deal at Target….It was not an easy transaction. First customer service told me no coupons were allowed with a price match. Then I read the policy and it states no Target Coupons or Cartwheels with price matches. So I fought again with my 4 Manufacturer coupons. Then the Manager tells me she will only allow me to use one coupon since it was $4.. REALLY??? So I told her either it is ok to use my coupons or it’s not, you shouldn’t be doing me favors. Finally she agreed that the policy allows the use of manufacturer coupons on price matches. Success!!! I got 4 Proganix ($9.99) PM to $6.39 used (4) $4.00 off coupons and paid $10.63 and received (2) $5.00 target gift cards.

  7. None of our local Targets would allow a PM on more than one item. So this is what I did:
    (2) Proganix Shampoo’s
    -(1) @ PM 6.39
    (1) @ 9.99
(1 each) Herbal Essence Shampoo & Conditioner @ $4.99 each
    -Used $5.20 Beauty Q
-BOGO Herbal Essence Q (9/13 RP, I think?)
    -(2) $4/1 Proganix
-$5 GC from previous Lysol Cleaner transaction
    Total = $3.37
    Sweet~! 🙂
