cvs-090515I wasn’t planning on going back to CVS again this week, but a few days ago Stephanie got a 25% off non-sale items CVS store coupon on a post card in the mail. When I looked at how many great deals ring up at regular price but produce Extra Bucks this week, I knew that now was the time to use the coupon.

The 25% off coupon applied to every item in my order since none of the items were on sale. The coupon deducted a grand total of $14.55. Those savings are reflected in the final statistics for this trip and are not listed with the individual items below.  In fact, once you factor in the 25% off coupon, every deal I did was a MONEYMAKER!

  1. I did the Venus spent the $30 and didn’t get the $10 back who can I contact? Thank you!

If there’s an error it’s best to deal with it at the store. Your store’s manager can manually print an ECB for you if it is advertised. That’s how I’ve always dealt with this situation in the past. I am not sure if there’s a number you can call – or if something like that works with CVS.

  2. I did a deal on dove a few weeks ago and the ECB didn’t print automatically and the cashier said she could not do anything about it! and then i called the customer service and they sent me $5 ECB! but when i go to other cvs store they always give me the ECB’s manually.

  3. Hey Steve,
Does your CVS deduct the 25% *before* coupons, or after? It can make a large difference on the bottom line.

My CVS only deducts after all other coupons, including ECB’s, and I was a little perturbed last time I used one of these. She said it was the rule, although I’ve never noticed that before.

    • Steve Pinski says:

My store scanned the 25% off last and it still deducted properly from all regular priced items AFTER other store coupons, but before manufacturer’s coupons.
