  1. can you use plenti points to purchase other items that also produce plenti points? I have not used the new points program yet with Rite Aid.

Before the UP Rewards didn’t activate until 6am the next day, is that still true with the plenti points?

    • Steve Pinski says:

Yes, you can spend points and earn new points, BUT you can’t spend them on the same day earned.

      • Thanks! Also do you know if you can only redeem points in certain increments or can you redeem in odd amounts? For example if the total is $8.50 after coupons, can I redeem 850 points or do I have to redeem 900. I tried to find it on rite aid website but couldn’t locate it.

Was curious if you have to tell cashier you want to redeem or if the system automatically asks you on the card reader. Thanks!

        • Steve Pinski says:

Unfortunately, I don’t know the answer to that question.

        • couponfemme says:

Jerin, you can use any amount of Plentipoints to pay at Rite Aid as long as you have a minimum of 200 points (from the the day before your purchase) — it even covers taxes! For example, I racked up 3600 points the first week the new program started, and have used amounts like 852 to pay for $8.52 in merchandise (while still earning new points). And points don’t expire for two years. As much as I thought I would hate the new system, it has a lot of perks. Too bad the Rite Aid deals are still less frequent than they used to be.

          • couponfemme says:

To clarify, I don’t think points can be used to pay for some things like gift cards or tobacco and alcohol products.

Should probably add I’m sure it excludes some things, like gift cards and tobacco.
