Targetjuly8mbI ran to Target this morning because I definitely wanted to take advantage of the Nivea deal but I also needed to restock on meats since we are getting low. I found a couple of other great deals while I was there as well. If you have never shopped the discounted meat products are Target then you are missing out! That is usually the only packs that I buy. This time they only had the ground beef patties with the stickers on them but I can use those for any recipe that requires ground beef! In the end it cost me less to buy them that way and they were bigger packs!

  1. Jenna Lynn says:

I purchased 2 Nivea bodywash this morning for 3.99 each. Gave 2 Target 3.oo off and 2 MQ 2.00 off. Cashier reduced my coupons to amount of product. I had other items to absorb my overage- have never had Target reduce coupon amount in the past.. Cashier said it’s their policy. Has anyone else had this happen?

    • Monica Bragg says:

I believe that it is going to differ from store to store. My store always allow overage and the coupons don’t prompt or anything.

    • I reluctantly did the Nivea deal at a Target that doesn’t get a lot of couponers, so the cashiers aren’t as coupon friendly, but they usually have most things in stock. To my relief, I had a great cashier and managed to get 8 of the Nivea body washes (two transactions) with overage, as well as WeightWatchers endorsed Yoplait with overage (these are beepers). The overage paid for 8 packs of Busy Bone dog treats (on sale 4/$10, combine with $2/2 MFC and $1/1 Target = $0.50/1) and a couple of other things. Yay!

  2. Their coupon policy states:
    * Coupon amount may be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied.
    * We do not give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item.

    • Monica Bragg says:

They aren’t supposed to but I know several stores that do which is why I stated that it will vary from store to store. It is not something you can get upset over if they don’t allow the overage since it is in their policy. Thanks for posting this to clear up my vague comment.

I found milksplash on clearance $ 2 and get 3.48 back from checkout 51 so free.limit is 3

  4. Wow, were those Driscoll’s ORGANIC strawberries you found for $1.25? I usually get the regular ones and they are in the yellow packages instead of the fancy green ones you have here. My Kroger will not allow a printable internet coupon for 75% or more than the value of the item, so I normally price match my berries (any if they are Driscoll’s) at Target. Kroger loses a ton of business to Target and Walmart with that silly rule they have. The date on the policy is actually 2013 and the Kroger website has a company wide policy posted in which they have dropped that 75% rule. I have no grounds to fight it since it says the store can make its own policy up? So frustrating! * too bad you didn’t have any Driscoll’s survey coupons on you when you spotted those nice berries!

    • Monica Bragg says:

Yes! I have found deals like that a ton when I go into Target. It is like they are trying to push out an overstock.

  5. ladybugpam says:

Market pantry beef is buy 1, get 1 20% off this week. Your 2 lowest items got the 20%, but after the 2 $2 target qs were deducted. Thats where your mystery discount came from;) I hope I find those, too, and the organic driscolls when I shop tomorrow!!!

    • Monica Bragg says:

Thanks for clearing that up for me because I was so confused! I was really happy for the additional $1.50 off but had no clue where it came from.

  6. the 20% also printed on ground beef 80/20 for me
