Target 7/26 (Steve) – Paid $14.59 on $38.78 of Merchandise (62.4% Saved)

target-072615I decided to run out to Target after I saw the nice sale on 12-pack sodas this week that matches our new Cartwheel offer. I picked up some other great deals as well. The full breakdown as below.

But before I get to the breakdown, let me tell you about the Evol Truffle Mac & Cheese. That stuff was OUTSTANDING! Stephanie and I split it last night. Afterwards, she ordered me to print our max of the Evol coupons so she could go back and get more! This stuff was restaurant quality, and I’ve seen truffle oil mac & cheese for around $15-$20 in steakhouses.

Also, refrain from buying Golden Oreo Cookies with Lemon Filling. You won’t be able to stop eating them.

  1. This isn’t really about this post, but the other day at Target I was told when an item is on sale 10/$10 you must buy ten to get that price, is that true, I can’t seem to find anything out about it anywhere?

  2. Thank you, it was for the dog treats that were 10/$10, and I didn’t read any specifications on the tag, but she insisted that was the case, so I passed on that deal.

    • Steve Pinski says:

I am 99.9% sure those ring up as $1 each.

    • Mary,

My dog treats rang up full price. I went to customer service, with a snapshot from my phone of the sales tag posted by the dog treats. No where did it say you had to buy ten, so the clerk refunded my money and rang them up as $1.00 apiece. Sometimes you just have to do a little extra leg work at customer service!

  3. Thanks for the responses, I’ll just make sure to price check next time and snap a photo of it doesn’t seem right.
