cvs-070515I had an AWESOME trip to CVS this morning. I received a 25% off regular price items coupon in my email on Thursday, so I decided to put that sucker to good use this morning. My out-of-pocket was very high, but I know that I’ll use those Extra Bucks to do other deals over the coming weeks.

I also received a $5 Beauty Bucks Extra Bucks reward from the Red Coupon Machine this morning. I am including that additional $5 of savings in the final stats for this trip since I didn’t include it in the trip when I earned the award. I used those Extra Bucks to lower my out-of-pocket on Transaction #1. (Note: If you have a Beauty Club ECB, DO NOT use it in a transaction where you are using a percentage off coupon or it will reduce your percentage off coupon value.)

Here’s what I bought, along with the coupons used:

Extreme Couponing Tip: You can usually get two prints of most internet coupons. To find them in the easiest possible way, use our preclipped links that take you right to the coupon. Then come back and click the same link to get your 2nd print. This will save you the time spent searching for the coupon.

  1. The Gatorade also qualifies for 20 cents from ibotta for any sports drink deal to make it a small money maker.

    • Awesome! Love the newer Ibotta $0.20 rebates for things I actually buy.

    • Unless I don’t have it in my offers, I do not see any sports drink offer. What I do see is an energy drink offer for which gatorade does not qualify (I already scanned the bottles I bought and it said it was not a match).

    • ladybugpam says:

The propel water qualifies as a sports drink for that rebate, too!

  2. We never received ANY coupons in our Sunday paper today in this area… I was told they weren’t delivered in time for insertion. I hope whoever was late knows how many this affects!

  3. I have always been curious, How do you get the % off coupons almost every week in your email? I haven’t gotten one in months. And when you do get them aren’t they good for 1 transaction? Then you can’t use it again on any other transactions? I get confused cause thats what the store always told me and they always said you can’t use it on any sale item as well. I appreciate any input you can give me on this. Thanks for sharing all your great finds. I love to read them every week.

    • Monica Bragg says:

I had to get a new card and change email addresses in order to start getting the percent off coupons again. You can only use the coupon on one transaction. There are a ton of items that are in the sale ad but not actually a “sale price”. The coupon will actually work on the items that are regular price but producing an ECB.

      • Thank you for helping, I have wondered about why I no longer get discount emails. I don’t have to get a new card number do I? just a new card? I want all my purchases history to remain.

        • Steve Pinski says:

Monica’s done for the day, but both she and I only received in-store coupons after getting new cards.

  4. Can anyone confirm if the L’Oreal limit is indeed 1?
    Thanks!
