cvs-072615I had a great trip to CVS early this morning! I took our rare milk coupon with me and I decided to take a little risk to see if the Extra Bucks popped out, even though I don’t have a milk sale locally…and they did! I also discovered that the Colgate/Irish Spring/Softsoap/Speed Stick deal has a limit higher than two, because my receipt says I can spend another $20 and earn another $10 ECB.

I got a $5 Beauty Club Extra Buck when I scanned my card at the Red Coupon Machine. I’ve factored the additional savings into the stats at the bottom of this trip. However, I still saved over 100% even if you remove it from the calculations.

Here’s what I bought, along with the coupons used:

SIX SPEED STICK GEAR DEODORANT, on sale 2/$8 (regular price $5.29)
FOUR IRISH SPRING SIGNATURE BODY WASH, on sale 2/$8 (regular price $5.99)
Get $10 Extra Bucks when you buy $20 of select Colgate/Softsoap/Irish Spring/Speed Stick (advertised limit is two, but it is at least three!)
Used one $2.50/$12 Deodorant Purchase CVS store coupon, Red Coupon Machine week of 7/12-7/18 (for some)
and used one $2/$8 Body Wash, Bar Soap or Hand Soap CVS coupon, Red Coupon Machine week of 7/26-8/1 (for some)
and used three BOGO Speed Stick coupons, 7/26 SS insert
and used four $2/1 Irish Spring Signature coupons, 7/26 SS insert
Price at Register: $15.50, but received $20 Extra Bucks

***FYI – There are some new Irish Spring and Speed Stick Gear printable coupons available now: $2/1 Speed Stick Gear printable coupon (preclipped) and $1.50/1 Irish Spring Signature printable coupon (preclipped)

ONE T.G. LEE DAIRYPURE MILK GALLON, regular price $3.79
Get $1 Extra Bucks for buying one Gallon of Milk (limit is at least 2)
Get $0.20 cashback from Ibotta for buying one Gallon of Milk (any brand)
Used one $1/1 DairyPure Milk or Cream printable coupon (preclipped/zip 68130) – coupon DOES NOT mention Walmart on it when printed
Price at Register: $2.79, but received $1 Extra Bucks and $0.20 cashback from Ibotta
NET PRICE: $1.59
***To change zip codes, go here and change your zip to the one listed with the coupon link above. Use the box on the right side of the page and enter your zip. ONE COLGATE MOUTHWASH 33.8 OZ, regular price $6.99 (I thought these were on sale $4.79 – not sure what happened. I THINK from the pic in the ad you are supposed to buy 16.9 oz 100% Bonus bottles that are 33.8 oz total instead)
Used one $2.79/1 Colgate Total Mouthwash 33.8 CVS coupon, Red Coupon Machine week of 7/26-8/1 (for everyone)
and used one $2/1 Colgate Mouthwash coupon, 7/26 SS insert
NET PRICE: $2.20 (I may return this later; unsure for now)

ONE ORAL-B BATTERY TOOTHBRUSH, on sale $5.99 (regular price $9.79)
Get $3 Extra Bucks when you buy one Oral-B Battery Powered Toothbrush (limit 1)
Get $1.50 cashback from Ibotta for buying Oral-B Battery Toothbrush
Used one $2/1 Oral-B Battery Toothbrush coupon, 7/26 P&G insert
Price at Register: $3.99, but received $3 Extra Bucks and $1.50 cashback from Ibotta

My total profit for the trip was $1.22 without including the Beauty Club Extra Bucks that popped out this morning. With those Extra Bucks we have the following final stats:

Total Retail Value of All Merchandise: $76.27
Net Price Paid for Everything: $6.22 PROFIT!
Savings Rate (excluding tax): 108.2%

  1. I did the colgate purchase this morning, and it rang up $6.99 but I showed the ad to the cashier and they manually adjusted the price to $4.79.

  2. Suave bodywash ends up free as well, after coupons and ecb.

  3. Deborah says:

Is the limit one or more in the ORAL-B Battery Toothbrush?

    • Monica Bragg says:

The ad states a limit of 1.

      • Deborah says:

I read that too but many of their deals say the same thing in the ad and they end up allowing more. Since Steve bought one I was wondering what his receipt shows. I the past this deal used to be a max of two. Thanks.

  4. Bought 4 Suave Gold Infusion shampoo, 1 sunday paper, 1 flag (.29 cents). Used two B1G1 coupons. Total $14.25- $6.99-$6.99= .27 cents. Got 4EB + $1 Savingstar back.

  5. I know this is about CVS Deals, but I could not find the Winn Dixie Comment. Maybe you can redirect this.
If your Winn Dixie excepts competitor coupons and you have a Publix, go to Publix pick up summer snacking flyer at service desk.. There is a Publix store coupon for $2.50 off Bryers ice cream with the purchase of 2 Kebbler cookies. Winn Dixie has Bryers ice cream for $2.99 and the the Kebbler cookies are bogo. I had 2 $1 off keebler cookies, so I paid $1.79 for cookies and .49 cents for ice cream. I thought this was great deal. Hope this is of help to someone. Thanks. Love your site.

  6. My CVS made an adjustment on the mouthwash for me also. The shelf wasn’t marked, but I showed them the ad and the cashier rang it up as 4.79. Love my neighborhood CVS!

    • Monica Bragg says:

      That’s awesome!

      • Same thing here; rang up at $7.49. The new very young clerk argued with me about it but the manager apologized and refunded the difference.

        • Monica Bragg says:

I am glad they took care of you!

          • This isn’t a coupon comment, Monica, but I wonder how you know to assign the same little creature to each of us? I like my little one-eyed green guy!

          • Monica Bragg says:

Haha, the computer automatically does it by your email address or IP address.

  7. Hi guys, I was wondering if some of you also hAve the same problem as me, that I haven’t got any coupons in my email. I just can’t go shopping to cvs without coupons because is too expensive. Thanks

    • Monica Bragg says:

I didn’t get an emailed coupon last week myself.

    • I haven’t gotten any e-mail coupons in at least a year on either my card or my mother’s card! All I get are e-mails with a percentage off an on-line purchase. I keep “rating” the e-mails they send me using the scale in the upper right hand corner and tell them they are of no use at all, but I don’t think a human actually reads the responses because nothing has changed!

      • AshleyAshley says:

I too never get coupons for the store anymore…in what seems like years. I only shop if things are free or dirt cheap there now. They send me online coupons, but I dont shop their store online. It’s too bad because between the freebies I know I bought other things too. They’re losing out on a good customer base by excluding couponers from coupons.

  8. Kim Uhler says:

Do red machine coupons expire on expiration date?

    • Steve Pinski says:

The expiration date is the last date you are guaranteed permission to use them. Some CVS stores will let you slide a few days beyond that, but it will depend on the store.

  9. Hi. I know this is out of topic and may have been posted somewhere, but the limit for colgate/speed/irish spring 10 ecb for 20$ spend is 100$ 🙂
