Walgreens freeHere is our list of Walgreens deals that are free or nearly free in the weekly ad starting 5/3. If you want to check out the full weekly ad and coupon matchups for the week of 5/3 – 5/9 at Walgreens, go here. If you are shopping later in the week, I strongly advise that you check out our Walgreens Category to see if there’s anything new since we published the weekly ad matchups and this list.

Don’t forget that Walgreens now allows you to cash in points on smaller totals. See the breakdown below. Also, DO NOT redeem points if you plan on earning points on a transaction. If you do that, you will not earn the new points.

1,000 Points = $1
2,000 Points = $2
3,000 Points = $3
5,000 Points = $5
10,000 Points = $10
18,000 Points = $20
30,000 Points = $35
40,000 Points = $50

Also note that Walgreens changed their coupon policy in late May 2014. There are quite a few changes and you can read more about them here.

I did the glade deal tonight and realized my register rewards did not print. I bought a candle, wax melts, and the room spray. Is there a number to contact our do I need to go back to the same Walgreen’s? I’ve had several issues with Walgreen’s and register rewards where it almost makes me not want to shop there.

    Thanks for the help!

I had an issue a few weeks back where the Register Rewards machine at the cosmetics counter was not working. They ended up ringing the order at another register to get my RRs, however I was still in the store when I noticed the RRs didn’t print. I don’t think that’s really an option for you.

If you have your Walgreens receipt handy, try calling 1-888-8COUPON (I think that’s the # for Catalina marketing, the company that does the RRs at Walgreens.) They mailed me one that didn’t print before.

  2. Maybe my Ibotta offers are different from everyone else’s, but I have .75/2 glade candles, .75/2 wax melts, and .50/1 of the TWIN oil refill (only the single refills are part of the walgreens deal). I didn’t realize this until after I had wasted 3/$1 glade product coupons. Just thought I’d give you a heads up just in case others have the same ibotta deal.

There is a bunch of variation from one user to the next on this latest batch of Glade Ibotta offers. For anyone who is attempting a deal that involves one of the rebate apps, I always suggest checking your app before you buy! Its one of those details I had to learn the hard way for myself unfortunately by buying stuff I didn’t have the rebate for.
